Make sure you completely ignore the save on Kane though. It's still funny to think that you seem to believe Budaj is the only thing wrong with this team.

Do you truly believe that our team has deserved to win this game tonight at all ???

It's not even close. We haven't played well enough to win...THE WHOLE TEAM !

But they need a whole lot more, like a coach, a defense, a penalty kill, and some people outside of Hejduk and Stats who can score
Hey, I'd be happy if they just played like they knew wtf they were doing out there. They've been playing like they have no direction (probably don't), no strategy (probably don't), and no idea what's going on around them.

Edit: 15 minutes into the third and only two shots on net. They were within one shot or one bad bounce of tying the game and they laid an egg.

The "1 bad goal" per game thing is gettin a little tiresome but this game is not on Budaj. This entire team and in particular Clark, Arnason, Salei have been attrocious

Q easily.

I'd like to see Granatool go to the AHL or Junior ranks and stand out....just STAND OUT from all the other guys currently trying for their shot at an NHL head coaching position. I betcha he wouldn't...AT ALL.

He doesn't have to prove anything to anyone...he's just that good. Our special teams would attest to that. (Just look at the awesome PP we just had !!! That's bound to end up as a strategy on NHL 2010 next year !)

- Arnason is a damn fine 3rd line center. The reference of "Ice Turd" is mean, hurtful and unwarranted. He's the type of guy who just makes his linemates better. As long as he keeps up his fine play, we'll be just fine.
See. Doesn't that feel better.

My point is that you can get rid of those 3 and there will be 3 more that replace them. It will be a never ending cycle of terrible players. Salei has been much worse than Clark tonight. I have also never defended Arnason, I know how terrible he is and I was dumbfounded when we re-signed him.

And again if you would read, which people seem to fail to do, I will quote me:

Quote:
I'm not fan of Budaj, and he did let in one bad goal that ended up breaking the backs of the Avs tonight. But this was a team effort of crap tonight.
But don't worry because I am just blind to everything....Budaj made some nice saves, and got a couple of bad breaks. But in the end, it's the saves he doesn't make that will stand out.

Oh, and not just the save on Kane, there was one on Havlat too which was his prettiest post to post save of the year

Very few desperation trades work out. Kono may have been "the one" that actually did. Plus, desperation trades tend to lead to overpayment

I know it's early in the year, but it might be time to start thinking about a total re-build. The Avs are going nowhere and no one trade will make a difference.

You don't fix abhorrent team D, horrendous goaltending, inconsistent offence and incompetent coaching with one move. It's time to start over.
