Doubtful he makes it. Guys like pettinger and klee were claimed on re-entry. For 600K, some team will grab him. No big loss for the canucks since they didn't even want him and were forced to take him to acquire shane o'brien.

I love the different spellings of his name: Ouellet, Oulet, Oullet, Ouelett, Ouelette, Omelette, Oueltte, Maxime, Ouellette.

I'd take a Maxim Omelette on recall waivers.

Mostly because I'm hungry though.

I wouldn't take this guy even if he came with a negative 500k cap hit.

I highly doubt Len Barrie would do that since he is friends with Mike Gillis.

Ouellet should clear. I don't know about Oueltte though. No record of him.

Hopefully Tampa claims him and waives Pettinger, and we claim Pettinger.

I would laugh.

This guy should not clear re-entry waivers.. he is an nhl player. I'd absolutely take him on the flyers right now over a guy like Nodl.

Ouellet was absolutely useless for most of last season, than for about the last 20 games when he got on a line with mathieu darche and jeff halpern he showed he can thrive on a scoring line. Those three had outstanding chemistry though and many Lightning fans were surprised that line wasn't keep together this off-season. so you have to find the right situation for Ouellet to be useful in.

Ouellet might fit in with an Atlanta, or Carolina for sure. I also doubt he clears re-entry
