...

Pens fans must be using automated voting.

Crosby's understandable.

But there is NO WAY Gonchar and whitney made up that much ground.

They're beating out chara now and in 3rd and 4th for D.

Fleury is now dominating 2nd place too...

its funny how its all pitts fans voting. Im not a fan to have all 6 habs, and certainly not a fan of player being voted who wont even tough the ice prior to all-star game.

Players aren't eligible to start in the ASG unless they've played 20 games by January 2nd.

They can vote for Gonchar, Whitney, and Fleury all they want, but they still won't start. (Komisarek likely won't either)

I think the Pitts fans main goal here is to get Crosby and Malkin in and the fastest way is to text vote for all the Penguins, hence the inflated numbers

We should post the results often here to keep track of the differences.

As if in the span of one day all Pens fans suddenly woke up and all started voting, while in the meantime the Hab votes have still been climbing.

You know what we should really do? Get the guys in charge of the vids on the giant screens at the BC and have them show the scenes with 'Gary Buttman' in Bon Cop, Bad Cop, in the all-star game, with Bettman himself in attendance.

Now that would be a nice payback.

Damn, how many times do people have to tell you???

That rule is for rookies. Established players are not concerned by this rule. It was said so by a rep from the NHL HQ office. Reported by RDS.

Only thing I'm annoyed about is that when people rigged for us, we lost 20% of our votes, when people rig for crosby...different story of course. I'd like to see crosby lose 20% of his votes last minute too.

But the league is more stupid than I thought if that's the case.....why did they put 6 players in then? They had to know that this was a possibility?

It's become clear. We now need to start texting "Canadiens" to 81812. And do it over, and over, and over again. Let's get Crosby out of the top 3!!!!

Well, seeing is it's Bettman's league they probably thought the biggest and most rabid fanbase in the NHL wouldnt vote much

It's obviously not the NHL doing it, they wouldn't be shamelessly trying to get Gonchar and Whitney in it, only Cindy and maybe Malkin.

Pens fans found a good way to cheat the system, Habs fans better figure out what they're doing

Prove it. The "this guy told this guy who told me" thing doesn't cut it.

Text the word "Canadiens" without the quotes, to 81812 to vote for all of the Habs. No charge (other than your standard texting charge.

Way quicker than doing it online

If it was the NHL, there's now way Gonchar and Whitney would have so many votes.

I don't care about Crosby...he deserves to be there anyway. but it's obviously cheating.

What's your problem? It's not even a case of 3rd or 4th degree, it WAS REPORTED, QUOTED directly from the NHL. What do you want more????????

Right in the pre-game show (or intermission) last week (I think it was against the Isles), François Gagnon said he called the league and talked to one of the persons in charge of the ASG and that person told him everything about the 20 games rules and that it wouldn't be applied to established players, including Komi or any other players who are injured. He also explained the reason for this rule, which is for rookies would be great at the beginning of the season and be voted in, yet be recalled to the AHL before the ASG.

I tried to do it via msn messenger(free and faster), but msn forces you to put a 1 in front and I'm not sure if that screws it up or not. Basically, didn't work for me.

You can vote for any player in the league you want, you know. Hell, you can go vote

Begin-Lapierre-Laraque
Brisebois-Dandenault
Halak

If you feel like it. You can vote for any player that is on or has been on an NHL roster. D'Agostini currently has 29 votes or something like that. We have Hamrlik that has over 15000 as well.

Yeah well, next time someone says "reported by RDS", don't go and reply ""The 'this guy told this guy who told me' thing doesn't cut it."".

Then you won't sound like the one who is immature and can't take a hint.

Especially when the other day, other posters and I replied to you the same thing and even specified that it was reported in a game of the Habs. And yet you go around still repeating this over and over.

ADD is pretty common nowadays.

But you do know that players chosen have more chances to be voted in than write-ins....

This thread's pretty popular and lots of posts happen. I'm not here all day watching every post. If I miss it, I miss it. No reason to get offensive.
