Fisher gets his first two points tonight.

Big win for the boys (I hope) and they'll move up in the standings and we will all rejoice to the old Sens theme song!!

Atleast Kelly has 3 points so far, compared to 0 for you-know-who.

If I were the Sens, I'd cover Semin and Ovie equally. I expect Semin to rack up the points in Ottawa tonight.

Good thing we've got 2 extremely capable shut down centres.

Did you guys read what Semin said about Crosby? Funny stuff.

Great GDT Masterplan, by the way.

This should be a good one. Will have to find a good online feed since I'll be working late tonight. If anyone has a good link(not Justin TV please), PM me.

Here's the quote from Semin on Crosby:

Quote:
What's so special about [Crosby]? I don't see anything special there. Yes, he does skate well, has a good head, good pass. But there's nothing else. Even if you compare him to Patrick Kane from Chicago ... [Kane] is a much more interesting player. The way he moves, his deking abilities, his thinking on the ice and his anticipation of the play is so superb.
I like this guy. I think he's actually going to be on par with Ovechkin stat wise.

He's not going to score 65 goals.

Kid's on a heater and ran his mouth.

I like his skill, I don't even care about what he said about Crosby, because the rest of the quote was hilarious, and basically disrespectful to the whole league, (a monkey could score 50 goals if you let him deflect pucks all game... etc). Dude's got sick talent, but it's not near Ovechkins.

However, after taking a few years, it's good to see what he can do himself. He was highly touted, and was pretty quiet in his first couple seasons. He could be a 40 goal scorer, I'd imagine. He's streaky, though.

I think he could get 50 goals, actually. He's under-rated imo.

yes - there should be only one team in Ontario and it isn't the leafs

This would create more revenue for other teams as misguided TO fans adopted new teams :-)

IMO Volchenkov scores the winner tonight

Why have games on the US election night? Its not like they didn't know that the election was coming.

regular season NHL game vs possibility of seeing the first black man elected President (and hopefully the collapse of the American conservative movement)... hmmm hard decision

I agree pot needs to be legalized

GO OBAMA!

Pot = 1000x less dangerous than Alchohol
Pot legalized = a HUGE hit to gang activity in cities where selling drugs is their main source of money (which is pretty much almost every street gang)

+ one of the largest revenue streams in Canada (BC pot is 3rd most important export) can be taxed and spent on health care and growing more pot ! Oops did I say that aloud ?

OK the money can be spent fixing the split and Carling ave
