This is why I hate all-star games. Fans just whine and cry that their favourites didn't get in or aren't on the ballot. There's what, 700 players in the NHL? Not everyone will get their way.
Im not whining. Im just making a statement. I will write in Carter.
Quit your ****ing whining you bunch of *****es ASG is a joke who cares who actually watches that **** anyways brutal hockey, why even have defence in the game just bring 20 forwards a side and leave the net empty! If it had implications like the MLB game does it might actually make it interesting! the ballot is just for the starters anyways the coaches and gm's pick the rest of the team so who ever is deserving will be there.

I hate that MLB rule, I think its pretty stupid.
I mean, yeah the ASG has like no hitting, but why does everything have to count? Its supposed to be a show, not so much a game.
Nothing to get all worked up about. Carter isn't getting in, and likely wouldn't garner the votes to make it in the top 20 in forwards. There's only so much room on the ballot.
Judging by your smartass answer, you feel Carter is deserving of starting in the all-star game? He's one of the top three forwards in the conference?
It's a stupid thing to be unhappy about.
I think he should be on the ballot. The fact that Biron is on there shows that it has nothing to do with performance to this point and even though that's the way it always is I don't like it. The ballot shouldn't even come out until late December at the earliest.
It SHOULD be about performance that year, which means that he should have as equal chance as Crosby or Ovechkin or whoever if he is performing the same way (not saying that he currently is)

Agreed. He'd have a shot if he was making Thomas Vanek kind of news....but without that, it's a long shot.

I think it's always been a combination of both this year and last. How many goalies are on the ballot? Perhaps they have a quota and Biron was the better choice over some of the other goalies in the conference, regardless of his poor start.
