On trade deadline who are some the young players that may be available? will Turris and Okposo(Would love to see him on Flames team, hopefully it happens) be available. Brule and Shremp will proably be on market. Who are some others young players that may on the open maket come trade deadline?

Hopefully the Flames or a another team steal Okposo from the Islanders because he proably will waste his talent on the island.

I could see Jordan Staal and Phil Kessel being available.

Brule and Schremp aren't likely to be available if their trade values remain low.

I say Smid or Cogliano because their trade values are much higher.

I think Downie could be moved because he can't crack the line up.

Turris and Okposo certainly won't be available.

Gretzky and Maloney have said many many many times that Kyle Turris will be the future of the Coyotes
Gretzky also said he could see him captaining this team down the road
I doubt he'll go anywhere
or Okposo for that matter
sorry but it is too soon to even consider trading players that could be future superstars for your club

Why would the Islanders trade a potential franchise player? Same with phoenix. I hope for Chiarelli's job that he doesn't trade Kessel.

Skille and Lisin are on my wishlist for Shero to pick up. I don't think they would be too hard to get either. Not that they are crappy players but they just are sol for the depth chart. To have a crop of wingers that would be Caputi, Skille & Lisin (if those two were acquired) would be awesome, it'd give Shero options for Sid and Geno's wings.

Yeah but Pittsburgh isn't going to want to trade players, they're looking to make a run.

Who says they would have to give up roster players? There are prospects and picks they could give up. The Hawks wouldn't take on extra cap for a guy that isn't on the NHL roster in Skille and in Phoenix, i think a pick and a prospect could work as well.

Penguins do want to make a run but there is improvements to be made in terms of wing depth for the Pens and having call-ups like Minard and Pesonen are great but while Caputi develops in the AHL, having another 2 solid prospects in Skille and Lisin definitely does not hurt. Especially when Satan, Fedotenko and Sykora are all UFA's at the end of the season.

Realistically, I'd be curious to know what it would take to get each player.

The Hawks want to make a run as well, that's why they would be looking to move Skille, for immediate help. Otherwise, why bother?

Why would Chicago trade Kyle Beach less than a year after drafting him?

I hope Halak will be traded. He has no future in MTL behind price. On a another team, he'd possibly get more starts.

When is the trade deadline?
