Raymond and Demitra both have underrated shots, so Savard would be a great fit between those two. Plus it would allow Demitra to go back to wing, where hes said that he feels more comfortable.

It'd take a top-talent #2 defenseman and a 2nd round pick (Boston doesn't have a 2nd rounder this year). Bieksa and a second for Savard and a 4th?

Savard has been stellar, but Boston has four potential #1 centers. Bergeron could step in now and do it, Krejci is close behind him, and Kessel is having a breakout year, though he's more likely to stay on the wing.

.

I wouldnnt do Bieksa and a second for Savard, let alone throw anything back.

Hell, i wouldnt do much involving Savard and Bieksa.

Ya if he has someone like Glen Murray or PJ Axelsson on his wing there's no way he can touch a point per game...Oh, wait...

He does make players better but he still needs a shooter. Notice his goals/assist ratio.

That's because he finds players in the perfect position to score. It doesn't have anything with him needing a shooter.

Some of his passes are unbelievable. It's more of a cause and effect relationship (a la Thornton and Crosby). Those two players don't need shooters to put up points, and the same can be said for Savard.

Not saying I'd make that deal, but thats what it would take.

He's put up 90 plus points in three straight seasons.
Boston has no use for Pyatt. Bieksa and a 1st is a nice package but at this point I just don't see us dealing Savard.

Savard IS our offense. Why he is even being mentioned in trade proposals is ludicrous.
