I really don't get that, isn't that him not honoring his contract? This is the kinda crap I hated Kondratiev for.

I don't see the issue as long as the Ranger organization is willing to sign off on the decision. And maybe it's partly the Rangers' fault for a) signing him when there was no room and then b) sending him off to Charlotte, where I seriously doubt he was challenged by the level of hockey there. Better he play in a league where he will get ice time and have the opportunity to get better.

Kindratiev always honored his contract when he was in the Ranger organization.

It's all in the Swedish newspapers today. Jämtin is coming back to Sweden. My guess is he'll join his former club HV71 and play there for the rest of the season.
