Avery makes another big defensive play.

Yeah that was good awareness to close in on the open guy in the slot.

Avery's settling in quite nicely, even with the extracurriculars.

Goal Ducks. Fourth line got running around. Turco thought he had it under his arm. Niskanen lost his guy and never took anyone out of the play.

Edited to say that Niskanen may not have seen the puck, and everyone lost their guy as they just stood there. Niskanen was just the closest and the one singled out by Razor.

Turco, you've looked good all night. Why take the HUGE risk to challenge Selanne?

Oh crap. What the hell was that?

2-1 Dallas after Anaheim goal.

I think this is proof that guys in the locker room respect Avery .....

Razor just said what I was thinking, Daley jumps in all the time to protect his team. It's usually Modano and Richards and guys like that.

I think that was an oh crap.

I can kinda get challenging Selanne, cause I think he would have been in clean if he wasn't challenged. But the play just deteriorated from there.

Daley cracks me up when he tries to be an alpha dog. I love it, but it's almost always Big Power Forward against Daley, and the size disparity is amusing.

No doubt. Kids got heart. He doesn't think twice about standing up for a teammate.

After 1 period, it just feels so good to see Zubov.

Daley, he of the traditional leadership group, sticks up for Avery. Make of that what you will.

Oddly, I felt nothing seeing Avery get crushed. He'll have to make more beautiful assists I guess.

I'm going out on a limb and predicting Dallas allows less than 3 goals for only the 2nd or 3rd time.

I will blame you if they lose. Even more than I blame Matt Niskanen.

Well I guess I was wrong earlier. All Stars don't just score goals in their first game. They score hat tricks *crosses fingers*.

I don't remember the last time Boucher fought. Oh no, he didn't take his helmet off. What is the visor rule again?

The rule is instigating with a visor, not fighting with it.

Question...Did Boucher get away with not taking off his helmet since he has a visor on it? Isn't that a penalty?

NM - Kritter answered it
