Good points both. But it still makes me nervous as hell.

Timonen made that SH chance all on his own.

That was a pretty awful way to follow up such a great first period.

I honestly do not mind Poopul scratched. Develops some bad habits. Lazy, non-physical. Just plain bad. He does not deserve that spot with Richards right now and he is nowhere a player he was last season.

We are losing to one of the worst teams in the league.

I'd say Gagne's played well and Carle's played well and that's about it.

So we get one shady 5-on-3 and score on it, and we have to pay with a slew of horrendous calls and non-calls.

I think we'll be back next period. Just need the good start. Not wait til ****ing 12 minutes in.

Weak call on Lupul, and then Gagne has his stick held by a lightning defender, but since he still managed a shot i guess its legal.

Well crap. We let them shoot openly twice and payed for it. Our penalty kill looks good though. Good hustle by Gags at that breakaway at the end of the period. Too bad it didn't go in. Would have been really great.

Lupul also had a great steal at the beginning of the period, and I believe Asham is trying to catch Cote in terms of penalty minutes and fighting majors

We can win this and we will do it.

I understand, I am nervous also, but he is doing the right thing putting him out there

I have been very happy with Carle- I was afraid of how he would do defensively

cant wait to see.....
Timmonen-Coburn
Vananen-Jones
Sbisa-Carle
Parent

Which is what I think is teh best pairings unless you switch Jones and Sbisa, which I would not mind

I hope Boburn can pick it up

Time to break out the shooter helper, or whatever they call it. If it isn't high and wide its right in the bread basket of Smith.

I think Stevens practicing his post game speech now.
We had good energy in 1ts but forgot about second. Tampa is like NJ Devils now. Playing well. We had a bad break on Carters missed shot. Itís disappointing, itís unfortunate.

I have Homer on speed dial and maybe he will trade Giroux tomorrow for another d-men.

gratton has looked good. Thrown a few nice checks, one on recchi, and nearly layed someone out on an open ice hit, might have been stamkos or st. louis. I love when minor league players earn there time like that.

Lupul played better on defense, hopefully he can do something on offense this period

Why don't you appreciate the fact that he traded for a defenseman who might actually help us, instead of standing still and watching this ****show continue.

This d-men as well as the rest of the team need solid coaching. It's not about if we lose or won Carle trade. You are missing my point.

Because this damn team shouldn't be below .500 with this talent level.

I suppose the major move he SHOULD be making he continues to delay...

I am surprised at how loyal and patient Homer is with Stevens..

You can clearly see this team lacks the right coach.

I think he was almost hoping that Stevens would get better and that he would not have to make a change. After reaching the ECF, Stevens earned himself a little leash, no matter how much he contributed to it. With a young team, he wanted the coach to remain steady

But it is time for him to realize that change is needed

While I'm certainly not a Stevens fan, this team desperately needs 2 defenseman to get Alberts and Kukkonen back in the press box.

Philly got creamed on faceoffs in the second. Amazing what happens when you don't control the puck when it's dropped.
