What about Satan?

Accordin to TFP, Satan thinks that he'll be trade next Tuesday. Why not try to get him ??? It's just a throw.

I'd love it... and he'd look sweet on Koivu's wing... but i highly doubt buffalo would trade within their own division

we would likely have to sell the soul of our team to buffalo to get Satan

We don't need him. We need a big, strong scoring winger or another D something like Sean Hill.

It is my belief that we need to replace Bouilon(sp). Even though he is giving 110% lately, I think he is too small for the playoff grind.

I think we need a big scoring winger on the first line.

Sabres would never deal with a team they are chasing in the standings.

Sometimes you need to make a deal with the devil to go far in the playoffs though. :p He would look great in Montreal, but it won't happen.

Satan is an awesome player! Seeing him in Montreal would be great, but like someone said we will not trade with a division rival.

I swear if we give up anything more than a 9th rounder for Morozov I am going to flip out like I have never flipped before. I can't stand Morozov.

What's so bad about Morozov? Didn't he get like 25 points in 27 games last season playing with Mario?

I could get 25 points playing with Mario! Morozov isn't what this team needs.

By this time next week, I think the Sabres will be sellers.

I don't know about you guys, but I think a line of Satan-Koivu-Zednik would be pretty damn scary. If we could get him cheap, I'd have no problem picking him up.

I agree. I just can't see them dealing with teams like Montreal or NYI by this deadline.

That being said, would really like this guy in a Habs uniform.

You can have him,for thr 7th playoff spot (joking)....

Anyway's I dont think he will be moved but if he is all he would cost is maybe a pick and/or hard nosed defensive prospect.

Remember that Warren Young, Randy Cunneyworth and Rob Brown were all amazing scorers playing with Mario as well.
Scoring 25 points in 27 games with Mario is NOT an accomplishment.

I think I would rather have Morozov, but I don't think I would want to pay much more than we paid to acquire Dagenais.

It's not as if all his points were cross-crease passes from Mario that only required Morozov to shoot in an empty net... OK, some were, but Morozov did a lot of it himself. Mario created space for him and gave him the puck in the right time... but when you get the puck you have to know what to do with it, and Morozov did. There are tons of players who didn't do diddy squat while playing alongside Mario... Morozov did what he had to do, he finished the plays, he set up his own teammates with intelligent plays, etc. Even Mario himself benefitted from some of Morozov's plays. This year he's averaging more or less one point every two games with the worst team the NHL has seen since the expansion Senators... I'd say that's not too bad.

What? why? Dagenais can't do squat on the ice unless he is set up. Mrorozov by a mile. Id like to know why dagenais?

I really don't know what everyone here has against Dagenais. Last night he set up Ribeiro once or twice. He isn't that fast, true. I think the main knock that people have on him is that he is soft. That's not that true either. He isn't a "physical" player by any stretch of the imagination, but he doesn't let himself get pushed around either. People also complain that he can't play defensively. While I don't get to watch as many Montreal games as most people on the habs board, whenever the habs come to New Jersey or New York I catch them, and from what I have seen, he is not lazy in his own end. He is no Bulis, but I don't think he is a defensive liability. Dagenais has a great shot and has great offensive instincts and a scorer's touch, and you can't teach the latter two, you are born with those skills. I think Dagenais is a great fit on the Habs until one of the kids(Kasts, Perez, Balej) takes his spot.

Morozov has a lot of skill, but is weak in every sense of the word. Mentally as well as physically. If he was strong mentally he would have more than 9 goals this season at this point in his career. Morozov is also the biggest wuss ever to play hockey. Unless Morozov can put his skill together and produce consistently, he is a 4th liner at best.
