GDT: Preds vs Wild (2/26)

This looks to be a great defensive game. Shouldn't see too much scoring from either side. But a fun game nonetheless. I doubt we see any fights, but it is possible though we may see one or two tonight. GO PREDS!!!!

I see our players trying to take a tad more advantage of their smaller forwards without Matt "effing" Johnson in the lineup

Integrity, baby!!!!

I'm lookin' forward to sitting my dead arse on the couch and watching this. The rest of the home games I'll be attending.

I read in the "Ciy Paper" that Zidlicky was day-to-day due to back spasms (I think). Anyone know anything?

Exactly what it sounds like....back spasms. I talked to Brent Peterson last night and he said Zidlicky wasn't likely to play tonight....and actually he didn't know how many games he might be out, but it sounded like more than one.

hutchinson was called up.

ugh, why is sullivan on the point? because it was working too well, when he played down low? that's wasteful.

STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVE SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULLIVAN!!!!

on the PP,

Preds 2

Wild 0

Vokoun came up with some HUGE saves late in the period, and is playing easily his best game in recent memory.

Neckar has been as advertised...you don't notice him much...in a good way. no big mistakes, and has broken up\created a few plays. An upgrade over Allison\Schnabel, at least. Arkhipov has played one of his worst games in a while in terms of amount of blown offensive chances.

i've got the nashville feed on center ice.

Man, Sully has had THREE breakaways tonight...one of which he capitalized on, but it was waved off.

Sully is just simply awesome, and he was exactly what the Preds needed. What a magnificent trade by Polie........

Oh, and I'll be reclining in the cheap seats on Saturday !

how was the Tootoo/Chouinard fight?
Chouinard definitely has the size advantage, but he never showed any grit or effort when he was a Duck...

not as decisive as the usual tootoo fight, but fairly boring. give tootoo an edge for the takedown.
