Hey all. I have center ice, and have been posting somewhat regular here. The problem is I have a roomie and can't always get to the TV. Also, last game vs the Blues center ice didn't have the game. I called Comcast and they literally started reading me the license agreement on how some games are blacked out. The weird thing about this is that CI showed it was "game 13", but game 13 didn't show up in the channels. This also got me thinking about streamed sites for the future if this happens again.
I remember reading that HF lets you post this now, as it wasn't allowed before. If I am mistaken then Mods please take this down.
http://www.myp2pforum.eu/nhl-icehockey/ is pretty comprehensive with listing all the streams that people know about. Hockeywebcasts.com pretty much just takes stuff from here, and there's also sopcast links on this forum. There's a sticky for each day, and you should check the latest posts for streams that may not have been posted in the original post.
Also, this gives me an opportunity to give a Comcast CI rant.
Just like the Blues game, it looks like this game will not be shown. What happens is there are like 13 games tonight, and the Sharks game happens to be the 11th. However, the 11th game is not shown, and there are spaces that say "to be announced." The problem is these games are never announced, and when I call Comcast they claim it is blacked out.
The problem with this is that I live in Boston. The B's game shows up on Comcast, but when I click it, it is blacked out because I get the NESN feed. However, the Sharks games aren't even able to be selected, which leads me to believe it is NOT blacked out, and Comcast/CI are just ****ing up.
Man this is awesome. Living in the Detroit area I rarely get to see the games unless they are on VS, playing the Dead Wings, or playing a Canadian team on Saturday night. I have watched the last two games on this and I must say that its great to actually see the games instead of always listening to them on the Sharks live radio.
