Ruutu has 10 points in 12 games this season, which makes him the Hurricanes #1 RW with Williams out. He's also an RFA, not a UFA. Why would the Hurricanes trade him? So they can put Chad LaRose or Scott Walker on the top line?

Dubinsky?

LMAO.

Sam Weinman basically called Eklund a moron on his blog for even suggesting that Dubinsky would be moved.

How about Madden and Gionta for Gaborik?
Or Kovalchuk for Gaborik, Schultz and a Conditional 1st or 2nd?

If only Gabby would sign a contract with ATL. Gabby wants to play in a more offensive system and still be able to see playoffs this decade i think.

For being pillaged and burned, it's awfully impressive that they're on a four-game winning streak. Bryan Little (tied for 7th in the league in scoring) also says hi.

People realize that most of the Stars problems are stemming from Modano not liking the way Avery and Ott have been behaving. And has caused a rift in the dressing room. I can see Modano getting traded if its as bad as being reported. Its not that far fetched.

Who's Alexandre Radulov? Oh, you mean Alexander?

Come on, just because he played in Quebec doesn't mean he's from Quebec.

I can see about 40% or so of the "top 25" possibly being moved, along with Lehtonen and possibly Fernandez. Off the "notables" list, we could see a few players, but it looks like he just threw together a bunch of checkers with a few skill players to make things look interesting. I can't see anyone having any interest in Eric Perrin or Kyle Calder, even at the deadline.

If Greg De Vries can make your top 25 list, you don't have a lot of trade prospects on the horizon. De Vries has been brutal all season and doesn't have the speed to play at this level anymore.

Modano is not going anywhere, if anything he retires.

How is Bergeron "more likely to be moved"? Boy, when you have an agenda against a player, you stick with it.

I don't see the B's dealing Savard, Bergeron, Krejci, or Kessel. The rest of the forwards are up for grabs if they can bring the B's back a puck-mover.

Even though Don Waddell has denied it a million times over, and everyone knows it would be franchise suicide to trade him before you have to, Kovalchuk is #3 behind the obvious top 2. And then he can't even spell Kari Lehtnonen right on the goalie list. I think someone needs a new hobby...

Yeah and Kovalchuk had 8 points in those 4 games. But sure 4 games is impressive, almost impressive enough to ignore the fact they made the playoffs once in the last 9 years only to be eliminated in the first round. Are you trying to tell me Atlanta has made some intelligent moves in the last few years?

John Madden is going absolutely no where. His family lives here in Jersey and he will be the first resigned, book it.

I'm assuming Modano has a NTC seeing as he did that whole Boston tease after the lockout just to drive the price up for the Stars because he really wanted to stay there
