Yeah, because Perry and Getzlaf are one dimensional..

BTW, Perry and Getzlaf have played three more games than Kopitar/Brown. Kopitar was in a similar slump as Getzlaf to start off the season, but is in the middle of breaking out of it. 5 points in his past two games.
Getzlaf is still the better player though.....
Quote:
Brown will crack 30 goals again, but won't put up as many points because he's too busy being a captain and annihilating little pansies like Corey Perry.
Yep a guy always in the trenches be it on the walls or in front of the net is a pansy, good logic.

And if Kopitar and Brown could have played second fiddle to veteran all stars like Scott Neidermayer, Chris Pronger, JS Giguere, and Teemu Selanne, they would have won a Cup, too.
Ok, Rookie Kopitar, and and Dustin Brown would have done exactly what Getzlaf and Perry did...just lead a cup winning team in playoff scoring. Cool.

Wow, think about how many points Crosby could score if HE wasn't so busy being captain!!! good argument!

**** the damn letter. Getzlaf is better captain material than Brown and a better two-way player, and he will get it eventually, the Ducks just aren't as devoid of good veteran players yet, but when he does, it's not going to be an excuse for him to stop producing. That's just silly.

Whose a captain and who isnt?
You cant argue intangibles, because unless its a guy like Sean Avery or Steve Yzerman, who have highly publicized and well known intangibles (or for Sean, lack there of), you have nothing to base it on except for the letter.
And also, consider that Getzlaf lost it to a player that only returned at the last half of the year
