Not happy about this at all. Want nothing to do with this kind of guy on the Oilers. Not only is he a dirty SOB, he can't even fight.

Tambellini's first move with the Oilers is this? I really hope this isn't a sign of things to come. I absolutely hate this move.

My exact thoughts when I saw this.... I bet Kesler is going to have a couple sleepless nights ahead of him

Tambellini does not have the authority to make moves. Lowe makes the moves in consultation with a group that includes Tambellini.

This is how rumours start.

I forgot Tambellini is basically a figurehead. What is Lowe thinking?

Terrible move. Not only is he a ridiculously dirty player but he's a terrible fighter. I'm all for bringing in an enforcer but this guy can't even fight. I would have much preferred someone like Parker or simply a guy that can throw down with the best of them. Boulerice is a joke.

I doubt he is brought in for Kessler. Gagner can handle him again if needed

Tambellini is a genius. He will simply send Boulerice out in the next game against the Nucks. Someone will get back at him for the Kesler shot. Not only do the Oilers get a 10-minute PP in a 3-point game, but Boulerice may have his career ended!

I didn't say figurehead - just not the top guy in hockey operations. The only thing that makes any sense to me about this move - and it is a stretch - is that they really didn't like Souray fighting and thought they had to do something. After that I am at a loss - I got nothing.

It's better than anything I can come up with but thats definitely a stretch. If Souray feels like he needs to fight then he will. Boulerice isn't going to do anything.

As a Canuck fan, quite unhappy about this guy in the NW. Edmonton fans will feel the same way after a couple games.

Honestly, the only reason I can see for this is that the Oilers are sick of Regher's constant cheap shots on Hemmer and are saving him for the next time they play Calgary, and sending him out there to mush Robyn.

The Coilers are hoping he will crosscheck Kesler in the face again. That guy is a ****** I hope Hordy destroys him.

I don't even have to click the link to know which one it is.

*clonk!* *thud* It's the most memorable thing Boulerice has ever done in the NHL.

Is this for real? Man, what a terrible day to be an Oilers fan.

It's amazing how some guys pass through waivers, yet Boulerice didn't clear not once, but twice.

The guy's a loser. The Oilers don't need them on their team and the league doesn't need him playing in it. I hope the Oilers waive him after his first game.
