Expect Mason in goal for us, though Pazzy is healthy enough to play now. In fact, the three injuries in the original post of this topic can pretty much be wiped out, or at least upgraded.

Per the Columbus Dispatch blog "Puck-Rakers", this is how the lines looked Tuesday in practice:

Huselius-Umberger-Nash
Chimera-Brassard-Voracek
Torres-Peca-Modin
Murray-Malhotra-Boll

Commodore-Hejda
Tyutin-Methot
Backman-Tollefsen

Keep in mind that Klesla (wrist) MIGHT play, which would alter the pairings accordingly.

Non-televised road game, huh? I don't know if I'll ever understand that. Anyway, it sucks that they won't show this one, but we get to watch the snoozefest that is Minnesota. I wouldn't mind if they just blocked every Wild game, and let us see the rest. Anyway, Columbus(unlike Minnesota) is actually a pretty interesting match-up... PHX's 22nd ranked GF and 7th GA vs. CBJs 9th GF and 20th GA.

Oh no... Oh no no no no no... You guys who get NHL CI in some form and will watch the game that way will have to deal with the suckfest known as Jeff Rimer and Danny Gare on FS Ohio.

If that is the case, I humbly welcome you to our TV hell!

I bet they mention that Gare played hockey atleast once, maybe twice... Also pay attention to rimmer saying "here". When you pay attention it gets quite annoying haha

This should be an interesting game. We usually have entertaining nights against the Jackets. Unfortunately for us, it looks like they're developing some offense outside of Nash, but it'll be fun to watch their kids.

So, does Poter get in? Most likey Carcillo won't be scratched, so besides him I don't see anyone worth scratching.

Don't forget when he says, "critical," such as, "This is a critical game," or, "This is a critical faceoff," or, "This is a critical power play," or something along those lines.

Yeah they are pretty bad on the Homer scale. But they are on the same level as the Avs TV Homers. They're not as bad as the FSN North (Minnesota) idiots. Those guys are the worst in the NHL.

There are a few websites who might broadcast the game tonight, like stoogetv.com or myP2P.com...this is usually what I use to watch the games, and on P2P if you go to forums and NHL it says that the PHX game will be played tonight.

Bryz is starting. Lines from the morning skate (order is my own)

Todd Fedoruk – Olli Jokinen – Peter Mueller
Steven Reinprecht – Kyle Turris – Shane Doan
Kevin Porter – Martin Hanzal – Mikkel Boedker
Daniel Winnik – Garth Murray – Viktor Tikhonov

Klee is dinged with a minor injury but may still play. Defensive pairings not set when the article was written.

Coyotes need to watch the line of Chimera, Brassard, Voracek. They have been the best players for most games for Columbus.
Brassard is very motivated and wanted to prove to everyone that he belongs in the NHL. He was not ready physically last season but is much stronger and more confidence this season.

If Turris continues to be not productive over the next 7 to 10 games, Coyotes need to send him to the AHL to develop, just like the way Columbus did to Brassard last season and not rush him when he is not ready.

Coyotes need to improve their road record, it is not easy to win on the road for most teams anyway.
Blue Jackets have always played hard against the Coyotes.

Yeah, I noticed Brassard in the season opener. I thought he looked fantastic. I thought to myself, "well, we have another name in the Calder race". Little did I know that he'd be the front-runner just a couple of weeks later.

Yay! New lines!

Rationale? As usual: none.

Is Carcillo injured or just sitting because of his dumb-ass play?

Brassard did go 2 spots ahead of Mueller and he's developed for a year in the A.

In theory he should turn out to be a better NHL'er than Mueller. Time will tell.

At least it appears I will be getting the game in HD. Thankfully I have grown used to terribly announcers over the years.

Prediction:

Jason Chimera will score early on Bryzgalov. It will be a soft goal with Bryz out of position. The FSN Ohio guys will go on for precisely 4 minutes and 17 seconds about how Chimera totally undressed Bryzgalov, the Phoenix defense, and Wayne Gretzky himself and will use the term "Highlight Reel Goal" eight times.

Mikkel Boedker will then skate with the puck into the Columbus zone, one on four, threading the needle like a pinball, and on the break to the net will be tripped up by Tyutin's stick. Flung into midair, he will somehow keep his stick blade on the ice and drag it past Mason into the net as he somersaults over the net. The FSN Ohio guys will call it a "lucky goal."

It's one of our 35 in HD. (I know, you guys got shafted on HD games. We discussed this the first time we played. Sucks, I agree!)

You forgot that Chimera will score moments after the Rick Nash highlight goal is shown about 10 times in the third period alone.
