I didn't find any results when searching for this so if it was already done, my apologies.

as a canuck fan, Koivu quite easily IMO.

still loved how Kesler completely shut him down last week... and you could see the frustration on Koivu's face... but he's just the overall superior player right now.

Didn't vote just in case Kesler see's this thread and starts crying due to the lopsided results.

I voted Kesler but I am biased towards talented American players. Then there's the homer thing so there was no way I could vote Koivu.

Koivu is a fantastic 2 way player though, can't fault anyone for voting for him.

This is one of those polls where you feel bad for one side because although they are a good player they are going to get trashed in this poll.

That side being Kesler of course.

Definitely Koviu, although I don't think it's by a mile. Defensively they're about the same, speed is about the same but offensively Koviu is just a better player. Kesler does bring a certain grit factor, and maybe by the end of the season the offensive discrepancy will be a bit smaller.

I like Kesler, and so do a lot of people, and I figure that's why he has 14 votes.

But really, it's Koivu by a zillion miles.

I'm a huge fan of Kesler, but have to give the nod to Koivu. He's a complete hockey player that can be used in any situation. Kesler has improved his offensive play, but there he still handles the puck like a grenade when on the powerplay.
