Sorry if the Habs team I see tonight doesn't inspire any confidence in me. The Bruins team we see tonight is not the same team we're used to scoring 5+ goals against.

Hey I want to be wrong, and I'll be just as happy as the next guy if we win this one, I just don't feel inspired in this team tonight.

I know we were bound to lose one, but like this?? I guess it's only fitting...

Boston has the toughness as a team that would propel the Habs over the top. Just a little bit more skill and they could be better than us. Cups are won in the trenches, folks.

Dandenault has somehow dressed in a higher percentage of games this year than even last year where he rode the pine a lot. And what has he done? Zilch. The guy is so finished, if he ever wasn't to begin with when we signed him. At least he had 10 goals from the fourth line last year. Thank God some contracts could be off our hands this off-season. Time to build a true Gainey team. The scoring and goaltending's in place, but lots of teams never won cups by that formula without a little D.
Come on man, we have had a similar roster for the last 12 wins against them, why is tonight so different?

Right...just like last year.

Anyway...for the people blaming the refs...get real. The Bruins just played better and the Habs were sleep walking. They need to wake up quick...quick goal in the 2nd would help.

I am pretty confident the Habs will win this one, score a few in the second, Boston used up a ton of energy in the first.

And Carey looking like the Carey in NY......he's still a kid but way too many ups and downs for him as well. I know there were a lot of mistakes in front of him, still you have to stop Shawn freakin Thornton and that rebound was awful....2 goals he could have prevented.

lot of emotion in here.....

A pretty lackluster first from the habs. Some soft clearing attempts and some running around in their own zone. The bruins are beating the habs to all of the loose pucks and when we have it, we seem pretty casual about it. Hopefully carbo can scream some life into them during the intermission.

Not to sound like a bruins fan but we need a fight, any fight, to put a charge back in their stride. Hopefully BGL gets his marching orders and tangles with thornton.

All the Boston goals were scored after screw ups by the Habs.

1. Dandy. (appropriate name ) makes a horrible play to give them a breakaway. They score.

2. Koivu loses the puck in the netural zone. They score again.

2 Georges has an easy chance to clear the puck from our own zone. He fails to do so. Boston scores again.

Horrible plays and we get scored after each one of them.

We need to tighten up on the defence. Quit making such bad giveaways. And lay some body checks on them and forcheck the puck off them. He have better players than they do. Time for our better players to step up and get it done.

Its time to steamroll these 3-legged bears.

Lets have another great comeback.

I'm not worried at all.

2 of the goals were complete and total act of God ****-ups. The Habs will storm them in the 2nd.

No, but now's the time to experiment since we're down 3-0 and playing horribly.

Yup, but even then, Andrei will be LW and Sergei RW. Even when A Kost is playing with Lapierre and Dandenault, he played LW.

I still think a comeback is reasonable. I expected Boston to come out strong in the first riding the momentum from last night but its in the 2nd and 3rd periods that the tiredness will set in especially that they have a lead now and dont need to try as hard. We also all know the Canadiens are good at comebacks so i would not be surprised to see the Canadiens comeback. Our offense has been good our defense has been ok but 3 very costly turnovers is the game up to now.

I love when people blame the coach for stupid mistakes by players, one being the captain in particular.

But Jacques Demers brings up a good point, you can't pull Price now because then you're putting the blame on him. While, yeah, he would've liked to have them back, they were defensive lapses that were not in Carey's control. When the team isn't working hard, you can't give them an excuse that oh, our goalie is bad, that's why we're losing.

If this is the worst we play this year, so be it. I'd rather this occur in November than March. But the Habs have become totally disjointed in away games this year. It's weird how they're 9-2-2. If all games were on the road, we'd be about .500. Damn, when's the next homestand? Just checked: Nov 29-Dec 13. Seven games! God, I hope we're still treading water by then.

The Bruins playing like they were rested is strange and if the trend doesn't work for the Habs when they fly out of MTL from facing Philly on Saturday to visit the Blues on Sunday night, I'll know this team has serious issues playing away from home. And that falls on the current lifeless and mushy team out there but also on the coaching staff who need to get these guys playing with jam, like their lives depend on it. Are they just expecting to coast to the playoffs, then turn on the "warrior" switch all of a sudden?
