We're playing bad, but not ridiculously bad. I think we need to give the bruins some credit. They have been playing well lately, and they play a good. hard-working game. That being said, we need to match their intensity.
We managed to squeak by last year because of it but it will take something more to do it this time around. No one, except a few die-hards, was predicting we'd go 6-0 vs. Boston this time. They've easily been the best in the Northeast this year. The Habs have been getting the comebacks to get to 9-2-2 while Buffalo has been up-and-down like crazy, the Sens mostly mediocre and the Leafs reliant on playing the underdog and getting major comebacks going. Boston has gotten the best jump out of the gate quite frankly.
If he ain't going to be that kind of guy, he needs to re-model his game to be something consistently helpful instead of the aimless work he does now. And this PK has reverted back to its worst habits of last season. This team really needs some good PK'ers. When Tom Kostopolous is one of your best ones, no offense to him, you need improvements there. Thank God we drafted a potential warrior type in Chipchura. Maybe he will grow to show his teammates how to play through rough hockey.
And still contained one of the best records in the NHL.
You people complain too much. 82-0 is impossible.
It's not about winning or losing, it's about showing up. I don't care if they lost by a goal or two if they work hard for 60 minutes but when you don't show up at all I think it gives many people reason to be pissed off.
