You mean...... Richards...... at the point............ on the power play........................ actually works?!?!

We didn't even need Ulf Dahlen to finally come to that conclusion!

I know, what a shock right.

If Tippett is fired, they should point this out to him as a reason why. Why the hell did it take so long to play your highest paid player in his natural position on the PP.

ROBIDAS

there's no reason he should be out there right now - nothing good can come from that.

another period ended on a high, but the situation hasn't changed.

It's going to take a great 3rd period to win this game..

I argued the same thing this time last year, and the year prior, and the year prior, etc. There have been ample reasons to get rid of Tippett and the team hasn't, so what makes anyone think the front office will finally realize the team just won't play for the guy?

And sorry, the team reaching the Conference Finals was not for Tippett.

Oh Niskanen...

"(Zubov) is there to cover for me when I screw up."

This is exactly the mentality that gets you in trouble. If you think that only Zubov is going to be able to cover for you, then you'll play differently with other defense partners and therefore go revert to this year's Niskanen as opposed to the relatively solid rookie Niskanen.

I would love for Zubov to play forever, but he's 38 years old. Niskanen has to get better at playing with other D partners, or he's going to be useless.

I hope he sits a game for that. Kid needs it.

At least he said "when", not "if".

Is it just me, or have any of you all dreamed of riding the Zamboni during intermissions?

As good as Eriksson was the other night, he's been where offensive chances go to die tonight.

Dallas isn't getting enough pressue on LA in their own end, they have to step it up here..

a PP may be the only thing that gets the Stars back in the game here.. keep on skating Dallas, you'll draw a penalty eventually

man, you can just sense that Dallas just needs that 1 hard working or skillful play to get a goal here.. LA is sitting back and leaving this game wide open for the taking

*PK that really hurts our chances

Kings falling down easy again.

The Stars could avoid all of this if they just held onto pucks, but if you give it up to a team that apparently has an aversion to keeping its skates under them, you will go on the PK a lot.

(It was a penalty, just an embellished one).

That was one of the worst clearing attempts in the history of organized hockey by Modano.
