Agent2421's Draft - Top 50 Prospects

This should be a lot of fun, we vote on whoever we think is the top prospect at whatever # we are at and we go until we reach 50

Do this like you did for the prediction thread, vote in your posts

Please don't try to screw it up and put all your players too high or make a joke of it and put Alexander Nikulin as the top prospect

Picks so far

1. Steven Stamkos - New York Rangers
2. Drew Doughty - Atlanta Trashers
3. Kyle Turris - Anaheim Ducks
4. Derick Brassard - Colorado Avalanche
5. Jakub Voracek - Washington Capitals
6. James vanRiemdsdyk - Detroit Red Wings
7. Patrik Berglund - Florida Panthers
8. Nikita Filatov - Anaheim Ducks
9. Luke Schenn - Dallas Stars
10. Zach Bogosian - Colorado Avalanche
11. Bobby Ryan - San Jose Sharks
12. T.J Oshie - Colorado Avalanche

See Page for for a detailed view of all the prospects

I am going with Steven Stamkos easily, but it is a bad time to do this poll for him

REMEMBER: VINCENT LECAVALIER GOT 28 POINTS IN HIS FIRST NHL SEASON!!

Steven Stamkos: 1

Great idea Sensational... I'll also have to go with Stamkos just because of all the hype and the talent I saw from him playing for Sarnia... I think he'll pick it up mid-season so my vote goes to him!

Stamkos even though he's my player. I'm worried Tampa might be ruining him but he's still #1 right now.

i wouldn't go that far...just cause he hasn't lit it up yet, doesn't tell the whole story. he has played awesome defensively. I'm expecting him to be like a Mike Modano type player.

but im going to go with Kyle Turris as well

You're right. Ruining is the wrong word. Not providing the best atmosphere for him to reach his fullest potential is a better way of putting it. Hopefully, his character will overcome the train wreck that I see in the Tampa Bay organization's future.

he is being surrounded by Recchi, Roberts and Lecavalier.

even though the team is going to be bad, he is not in a bad situation at all.

+BARRY MELROSE WAS FIRED!! this is the best news i've heard all night.

I agree that turfing Melrose is good news for Tampa but we'll see if this gets them back on track. I think there is more wrong there than the coaching. Basically, I just don't have any confidence in the current management/ownership team.

My vote is Doughty bc i believe its harder to come by a offensive defencman who looks so rekaxed in the NHL at such a young age he will surpass 40 points this year...

FYI if i had to choose stammy or turris it would be steven!!

I'm voting for Doughty, too. Every time I watch LA I'm more impressed by this kid.
