When a goal is under review, I don't think that what the ref called matters

Only if a conclusive decision can be made either way. If not, the call on the ice stands.

This came up against the Sharks where the high stick deflection stayed as no goal.

Oh you know it. Assuming the Wings hadn't made an offer, I'm sure he would have down the megamillion, multiyear contract from the Oilers to sign with the always-promising Panthers.

This man has to be among the most underrated forwards in the league. He led the Thrashers to the playoffs for crying out loud. He was a thirty goal scorer in Ottawa--playing with Havlat and Bonk/Varada.

I thought it was a decent period. We need some more possession, we are chasing too much, but I guess thats what makes the wings so good

Wow, there's a pic of him at 12 years of age wearing a Panthers shirt. That's crazy.

Hunting grizzlies. You either develop a good shot or get eaten.

That would explain those guns of his. McCabe is one strong dude.

How many goals did I see him score with that same move while he was a Senator ...

Also: consider moving Frolik up. He's been playing particularly well tonight.

Anderson shouldn't have started the game, I just felt it. Glad Vokoun is in net now.

Don't support putting T-Vo in that quick. If you're going call him the starter, give him more than 2 goals.

Perhaps DeBoer is getting on his players with that move? Such as Bouw, for getting caught?

It seems DeBoer is making a difference. Last year's team would have given up at this point. Nice to see the Panthers continue to play and search for goals.

Who ever called Anderson a starter?

Oh snap! 2-1. Nice to see Zednik going back to his Montreal form (with respect to intensity).

Yes, Bouw pinching in was pretty bad. But I do believe Andy should have had that goal. When whoever it was, (think it was holmstrom) skating the puck into the offensive zone, you could see Bouw behind gliding in, not even hustling to get back to his spot. Was pretty brutal.

It was Zednik with a backhander. Peltonen would never be that useful.
