Copied Kaoz's post from the other thread..

I liked the Ole chant. Strictly because Habs fans got a taste of their own medicine.

If it became a staple at a Bruins game then I would have huge issues with it (because frankly it's a stupid chant), but used in that capacity I thought it was just fine, just fine indeed.

It will never become a staple at Bruins games. We all think its stupid and lame... it was solely done to mock the Habs fans and rub the embarassing ass beating they took in a little more. It was absolutely perfect.

Have to agree on the Ole Ole chant. It was done solely for the purpose of rubbing it in just a little bit more. We as the fans had been waiting over a year to see a game like this against them. I mean the playoff games last season were great games but they were also very tightly contested. This was just an old fasioned beatdown. We just gave the Habs fans a taste of what it will be like from now on to come into our house.

I heard it was "You're Gay" and not "Olé"?

So, over the last 4 periods it's 9-1 Bruins? Man have times changed

There was probably a few that were doing the "Your Gay" chant but the majority were def doing the "Ole" in a purely mocking fasion.

Apparently there was also a "USA" chant after the Lucic fight lol, ironic.

great game all around. now that some fan's realize how good this team is, i hope those whit short memory will remember this game wen things wont go our way.

Julien is a master, people can say what they want, he has every player in the team to buy into the system, and they all benefit from it.

it is easy to criticize Julien decisions, but in the end he is the one who got this team to play the way he wanted.

last night Julien out coach Carbonneau it wasn't even funny.

Yeah that started a couple of times. As I posted in the other threads my friends and I would normally start a Lets Go Bruins or Carey chant when the knuckleheads a section over from us would start up the USA chant. I find that to be pretty dumb seeing as we have only 5 or 6 Americans on the whole team.

Never liked that chant. Our players and alot of our fans are Canadian. maybe if we were watching Hacksaw Jim Duggan wrestle it would work, but I think it's a high school age fan thing.

Yeah the guys in the section over from us couldnt of been over 18. One of my friends had a pretty heated discussion with them about how dumb that chant sounds at a non international game. I will chant long and loud for the B's but you will never hear me doing the USA chant at one of our games. IT MAKES NO SENSE!!

Three Positives For Habs

1. BGL is still the heavy weight champ

2. Thats one less game they have to play us.

3.Komi is still alive

Wow, I can't believe how much we dominated them. There's hardly any positives. At least when we lost we slapped them around. But last night the habs had nothing to feel good about.

Well I know it happens all the time in Boston, that's fine. I just found it particularly funny at that point considering Lucic is Canadian and Komisarek is American. It just didn't really fit.

i completely agree, just counted, and only 5 guys are from the US. There is no place for it, I'd be interested to know what the guys think of it tho I think you'd get the classy anytime the fans cheer its great answer... need a better chant than USA and your gay...

Again most fans in my surounding are werent chanting "Your Gay" but chanting "Ole". Also with the exception of right after the Lucic fight the USA chants were also kept to a minimum.

Came to work this morning really looking forward to seeing two co-workers who are huge Hab fans (it hasn't been pleasant this past couple years) and having some fun of my own, but it seems they watched a different game in a parallel universe. Seems that the habs were too relaxed so they "let the game get away from them" and then "Lucic and Komisarek fought to pretty much a draw"

Since I'm the It manager for the company, I set up both of their screen backgrounds with the pic in my avatar and locked their profiles so they can't change it...........

I want YOU as my IT Manager (I also work in an IT Department). My Manager hates hockey - so we don't talk sports much. Having a Bruins fan as an IT Manager would definitely be nice!

I'm laughing so hard right now. Lucic screaming after that fight is a beautiful thing and a great memory. Speaking of Lucic, his goal was great.
