Now that Komi is gone I would like to see someone other than the human turnover fill the spot.
I don't mind him periodically but I don't like to see him play too much. Trouble is that as much as we talk trade to replace anyone who gets injured, you don't just get them for the 4 weeks a guy may be out, so if you really want to acquire a bona fide 18-20 minute d man, think long and hard because you have to keep his contract and give something up to get him.

Its time to BAN fighting in hockey.

Its time to take a deep look at fighting. Is it really of any real value?

Its time to see if fighting is allowed in any other major sport except boxing.

Baseball? no fighting. Football? no fighting. Soccer? no fighting. Basketball? no fighting.

Is it ok for someone to walk up to you and starting beating you in the face?

How about your girlfriend? Your kids? Your family? Your friends?

PERHAPS........................................... ..................................................

Peace will only come to planet earth when we see the stupidity of violence and create more TRUE peace.

Perhaps if we ever want to end the insane wars of the world we need to support more peace and less violence, fighting, and insane wars.

Perhaps we could enjoy hockey without fighting.

PERHAPS........................................... .................................................

Some interesting reactions will flow thru your mind after reading this.

The more I think about last night, the angrier I get at Carbo.

With either 4 goal deficit he should have told Laraque to take Lucic off the ice for 5 or more, and not by using a formal request.

The Habs would be better off with JMMR on defense than breezeby.

Forget Breezer, give Carle a shot (he healthy yet?). By the way, what the hell happened to J-P Cote?

As far as the defense men are concerned you are right. Also, he can handle the rough stuff, is a pretty good fighter and has played wing before. Question is who does he or anybody replace?

I think Carle would be a mistake at this point. He is still working his way back into it and doesn't need to get rocked again. Besides his defensive work needs improvement.

Komi might have a broken hand.... MIGHT....

If we learn that he does he obviously goes on IR.

If he doesn't... well then no need to worry about call ups.

I heard the same thing. And people were down on Komi.. It's hard to win a fight when your hand is broken. The pain is too intense to want to punch again. I wonder how long he will be out???

Carle? Seriously? People don't like the defensive mistakes Breezer, a veteran makes. People don't like the defensive mistakes O'Byrne, a youngster makes. They don't like it when Komisarek or Markov make a defensive mistake. And people want to put Carle in a position to make important decisions in his own zone at the NHL level when the team doesn't know which way it's going? That's asking for trouble.

He can make some great plays offensively in the AHL, but needs to get his head down and work hard in his own end while avoiding any further injuries, give himself a good stretch of games to work through and improve through. So far this year, he hasn't made the type of rediculous mistakes he made last year in the D zone, but he still needs plenty of work.

Henry, Jancevski or Belle who as the best plus minus with +8 are the ones i would call up.
Weber or Carle arent reay yet.Plus the one mentionabove have some good size

jancevski is not Habs' property. He is with the Dallas organization.

No need to call anyone. For the moment. Brisebois will play and Dandenault can play on right D if needed. And O'byrne will unfortunately play also.

Henry might be a good solution for the left side.

If Price doesn't rebound and Halak fails, don't be surprised to see Denis called up.
