I like the nameplate, it's all the piping going on that I hate. I hope the Flyers don't screw this up and just go retro.

I like that the thirds will look like that but be in the EDGE design, which I personally like.

Really? I was just going to post how I hope they use the same size emblem on the new thirds. I think the logo is ridiculously big on our current uniforms.

^^^^We should at least go back to the latest size before Reebok ruined everything.

While that website may be on to something, they are showing an artist's rendition, and not an actual leaked product.

Furthermore, note what this website offers as "proof":

Quote:
In the pre-order FAQ in the Fan Zone area of the Flyers’ official website, it states…
What colors are available?
Black and white jerseys are available this year. A third orange jersey will be released next year.

This evidence should assure fans that by the preseason, the new retro style will be in stores.
The Flyers' site has actually said that for a year now. This is not "breaking news," nor is it an unintentional or unofficial "leak."

Reebok didn't ruin everything at all, stop being so melodramatic. These new jerseys are the future, and are well sharp.

My dream would be Orange home jerseys with Black Alts.

I like the Reebok Edge jerseys now though.

I like the black jerseys and would like to keep them as road jerseys, although I realize that's not really a possibility.

I disagree, I like the Reebok Edge sweaters.

I like our Reebok black homes better then our CCM black homes even.

Anyone who's actually gone out to get a new jersey will tell you how awesome the EDGE jerseys are. They fit like a long sleeve shirt, and not like a ****ing blanket. Anyone who disagrees at least in the fitting aspect has never worn one.

i agree, the orange is much better than the black for home games. i'd love it.

plus, we could put on the black ones a few seasons from now and have a marketing campaign for "Back in Black."

and i'm not saying the huge logo is the best, but the logo was really way too small on that retro jersey, imo. tiger's photoshop job made it look a lot sharper.

That's SOOO deadly, guys! The side numbers look a little huge though :O but otherwise it's amazing!

btw, I'm a half Flyers fan this year. I've got Centre Ice loaded and set for the year.

Atlanta will wear their third jersey in a game against the Flyers:

Whoever designs the jerseys for Atlanta needs to be smacked, he can keep his job, just a little rough-housing is all I ask.

The flyers jersey looks just amazing. I'm not a big friend of the nameplate but it's not like the "bolts" and "sens" jerseys. Just plain ridiculous.

I'm sure the nameplate will grow on me 'cause the rest of the jersey is just so darn perfect. The numbers on the sleeves look too big but in Chris' blog he says that they are digitally added so not much cause for concern there.

Looks like 4 out of 5 flyers fans will get their wish:

I think you're exactly right on this. I'm not a fan of the nameplate, but I think the rest of it is awesome. And hell. I can't see my back.
