The Habs fans are already trying to call another penalty.
Time for another caffeine injection.

I stand by my earlier comments about the passing. I agree with you that Sbisa has looked poor tonight. As far as Kukonen and Alberts, I feel uneasy when either of them has the puck on their stick. Earlier this period Alberts puts a cross-ice regroup pass wide of his target which results in a turnover opportunity for MTL. Kukonen to me looks rusty from his time in the press box.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Kukonen but I worry when I see a poor puckhandling player who's been scratch for a lot of the season paired with another defensman that struggles with the puck on a line with two AHL call ups and Aaron Asham.

Carle saves a goal because Tanguay had Biron beaten. Look at what decent, crisp passing does.

JJ almost choked on his own laughter at the non interference call.

This board almost doesn't work at all anymore for me.

Damn stone hands, so close!

Unless something starts going badly wrong, that Carle trade is looking like a real steal.

I love Riley, but Gratton can lose just as many fights as Cote. Cote will fight anyone, but he doesn't win very often, so what's the point? Gratton provides more energy shift by shift and has better puck skills. Ross is much more suited to a fourth line given his tenacity. Asham's been playing better as well. All in all, I like these three guys out there.

As long as them is both teams, and not just the Habs.

Gratton may end up being a decent fighter, those guys take a lot of time sometimes, Cote had to start in the CHL I believe. Gratton is still a tweener, it's just a matter of getting noticed, a few good decisions will do it. Cote loses fights, but it took him just under a year at the NHL level to be regarded as not good enough, to a respected fighter amongst the elite ranks (Laraque commented on him last season)

It might be the brightness of CW's feed, but I just noticed that the bottoms of Marty's pads look like 2 cones to shoot through

In terms of fighting Cote has the size and toughness to always beat out Gratton in that department. But in terms of 4th line energy while not hurting your team, I like these guys out there now.

CW has a propensity of the brightness. Maybe it's me, but I keep seeing a static line coming off of the sponsor graphic.
