LOL to those saying Hamrlik is the 3rd DMan on this team... No way he's behind Komo.

Plekanec tried to sell it after the contact, if he had stumbled along instead of going down he might have drawn the call.

So, I don't think Gratton will take another run with BGL.

five issues with this team all year

1. can't make an outlet pass to save their lives.
2. can't get out of their own zone along the boards
3. no sustained pressure in the offense zone
4. neutral zone turnovers
5. can't win the puck in any zone.

you don't win cups in november; but the team has a TON of things to work on!

Just wondering, do you guys think the late Kovalev elbow on Gagne should've been penalized?

Exactly. I'm seeing it that way as well. We do look nervous, but it will come back shortly or so I hope. Great period by Halak so far. Obviously, Biron seems to want to play his best game of the year against us.....how surprising....

Agreed, he doesn't bring what we would expect from a really good 3rd center.

He can finish (although he doesn't burry most of his chances) but he really creates nothing...

Of course, it was a pretty cheap head shot. Not common from Kovalev (other than on Tucker) but it should have been a 2 minute easily. If that was Kostitsyn and not Gagne, most of the habs board would probably be screaming bloody murder.
