My worries is scoring. We can't win this game 1-0.

Why arent you looking forward to it? It's going to be a GREAT GREAT GAME. Love those games. Fast-tempo...hard hitting. The players play with there heart on their jerseys. gotta love it.
also it will be a test for the rangers to play without Gomez....(If he doesn't play)

I think fly was saying it to complement his annual 6-1 otl prediction.

Embarrassing loss right here. Rangers show that they can only beat sub par .500 teams, show no enthusiasm, and Henrik finally comes back down to earth.

8-1 loss.

Henrik come 'back' down to earth?

not sure what that means - he seemingly has always played like a top 3/5 goalie overall in his three seasons. Had his slumps, but his slumps lasted shorter than his great play.

4-2 Bruins.

Not having Gomez is the decider.

Rangers lose this one in a major rout, 9-2. Henrik gets pulled after allowing 5 goals on 6 shots. Dubinksy scores via a shot deflected in off Chara's leg, hand, helmet, and eventually, his stick. The second goal is an own goal by Aaron Ward. Lucic knocks out Orr and Voros, and Valiquette allows 4 goals on 10 shots. Overall, a solid effort but a string of bad luck is at fault for the loss.

The Bruins are more physical and will bang us up undoubtedly . Our team is a softie ! We have a blueline core that absolutely does not instill any fear in the opposition whatsoever and that pretty well goes for our forwards too...as Voros now thinks he is a goalscorer !

My biggest fear about playing the Bruins is not Lucic but rather Chara...who could hurt anybody during any fight... Orr included ! After Chara and Lucic you also have Thornton and Hnidy and a few other guys that will go at any given time and that allows the smaller skilled guys room to make plays at will...we need a few more guys like that on our roster !

I have cheered for the Rangers for 37 years and I liked the great start but I also know that the team has a lot of cracks in it . The PP is atrocious with the results speaking for itself . Sather might have to drop a forward and a find a PP Specialist that can shoot the puck since we don't have one that can without stopping to read the ads in the game program and then realize there are 4 guys ready to strip him of it or laying down a block...Perry Pearn must have some juicy scandal stuff on Sather in order to keep his job this long !

Anyways...my prediction is a 3-3 tie with Savard scoring the SO winner . One more thing....Dubinsky will go with Lucic tonight !

keys to the game:

defenseman need to join the rush and put up some points...
voros needs to get a goal and disrupt thomas in front of the net
hard forecheck and need to keep the bruins forwards to the outside
SPEED, SPEED, SPEED!!.....bruins defense is big and hits a lot but they have proven over the last couple of seasons to be able to be beaten by speed down low

By giving up more than 2 goals, in this essence, I sarcastically chose 8, although I wouldn't be surprised.

The Bruins will win, I have absolutely no faith in this game.

3-1 Boston, Rangers come out sleep walking again, Boston leads 1-0 after 1, 2-0 after 2, Rangers get a PP goal to make it 2-1, Boston scores with 6 minutes left to make it 3-1. Boston goals: Krejci, Ryder, and Wheeler. Ranger goal is Naslund. Mark it down!

Why does everyone think this game is going to be a bruins s*** show. The rangers play better against great teams. This is where Drury has to prove he is a leader. Our team has been playing well minus the first period. Numerous players have stated that they can't expect to win not playing the 1st and I think Renney is going to get this team pumped and ready to go. The Bruins are going to face a VERY motivated Ranger team that wins this game in the transition game. Rangers win in a convincing 4-2 win.

We gotta come out like gang busters tonight, totally out work em, out hit em.

D has to be steady, gotta control the turnovers and penelties = Loss.

This is a very early statement game.

Lets get on a bit of roll here tonight.

LETS GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Komisarek got what he deserved. He is a clown. That fight had me smiling for hours. He should stick with cross checking people when they are down, running his mouth and fighting guys like dubi.

If we had Gomez I'd have more faith. We got lucky against an injury-decimated Devils team. The Bruins are on fire right now and we haven't been playing our best hockey lately.
