I don't think people get the "A great day for hockey" quote and where it comes from or the fact that this team could have been moved as well. It's a great ad for Pens fans, greatest hockey ad? I don't know. But if it's about greatest hockey ad for any team, this has to be top 3 if not the best one.

Those rangers ads weren't that bad actually, they were all very funny. I miss Kaspy. The Kings should be banned from making any and all hockey ads from now on. Weak for a team that has a lot of hollywood themed goaltender masks.
As for the greatest as in "beautiful", I think the cup raising advertisement and the one where different players pass the puck to eachother and a kid ends up scoring a goal.
As for the funniest, Olaf Kölzig with the wine at the anniversary was the one that made me laugh the most. Brilliant. The Habs goalie commercials where he's a cab driver and a gardener are also spot on, great work. Also a bonus point to Shanahan with the Wilhelm Tell shooting off the apple of Granger's head.

oilers season opener vid was much like the one with the passing between generations only it was better. not just saying that cause i'm an oil fan. slightly more fluent production. obviously it takes an oil fan to get caught up in the nostalgia but it was a rad intro.

I'm a pens fan and I think it's a great commercial, but not the best. Ironically the little kids are my favorite part of the commercial and not the pens clips.
The best NHL commercial is clear the raising the cup. I don't think anything i've seen comes close to that in terms of covering the entire NHL.
Eh. Great commercial for the Pens. Not the best ever. Anyone who played competitive hockey throughout their lives could associate with this one though...
