How was that not a penalty shot?

It was close, but Jovo missed the puck and took out Morrow.

The worst thing about that blown call was the ref was right there watching

That guy didn't come anywhere near the puck when he chopped Morrow down.

If his name was Avery it definitely would have been a penalty.

Um.... is there something you want to tell us Razor?

"There's young Hanzal. He's so hot."

Ahh, thanks. I missed that it was a Zoolander reference (never seen it) and did a triple take.

If it was Avery, it would have been a penalty even if he got the puck.

Sergei Zubov, I missed you.

Nice tip Parrish. Fitting, since it was a make-up call for what should have been a penalty shot, that they score.

I think that is way too risky of a reference to make because I don't know many people who watched Zoolander.

They can't because of the cap.

He did well in his first game until he was attached by a rogue stick blade.

He's simple and solid, which has been lacking a lot this season.

Turco has looked a lot more like himself since the San Jose game. He still has his hiccups, as always, but his puck movement is less desperate and he's making most of the necessary saves.

Go look in the LA GDT thread, I already broke it down and don't feel like doing it again.

It's the last page.

I'm rounding, but Petersen is around $500,000 and Neal is around (I believe) $850,000. Dallas has about $150,000 in cap space and very little flexibility with Lundqvist on IR.

Technically, I think Lundqvist is missing enough time that they could put him on LTIR (4-6 weeks with his broken shoulder), but I think they're also trying to massage that little bit of cap space into Neal being up from mid-February on.

Petersen just turned the puck over off the faceoff.
