[Pretty scary in Montreal game. He ran to the dressing room.

Hope he's ok.

Pretty scary how quickly he went back to the bench and how he looked for help in the way to the dressing room.

Apparently Halak went to check in and came back, as well as one of the team's medics so hopefully everything is fine.

The announcer just said he'll be okay and it's not serious.

glad to hear he's alright. Man that's scary though. All of a sudden the game didn't matter anymore.

Probably a bit of both. Imagine taking a slap shot in the throat. Fortunately, it was a bit of a flutter shot from what I saw. But still, he was in close proximity to the shooter (probably less than 10 feet).

Glad to see that it's not too serious. It didn't look good at first.

It probably hit the side of his neck near his throat, not his throat itself.

The truly scary part was how quickly he got up and off the ice. Anytime you see that it's usually pretty bad. Glad to hear he will be fine.

I had turned from the Sharks game just in time to see Bouillon get hit, and I must agree it was scary to see him dash for the locker room and stop just short before going inside, hunched over & grasping his throat

Good to know he'll be okay

Scary, it's great that he's OK and nothing serious or too serious happened.

Glad to hear he's ok.

I also like how Tkachuk was ready to help him off the ice, but Bouillon was just in a rush to get off.

Even if it's not serious, I'd imagine anytime you get hit near the throat your first reaction is going to be panic.

I don't want to be morbid, but I wonder if after the Zednik incident players are more aware of where the bench is. I haven't seen a video, but would this be a situation where a throat protector would help?

That was crazy to see. Thought he got cut for sure the way he was holding it but I guess not. Boyes sure ripped the shot and ouch right in the throat. Hope he's alright.

It was really scary...Especially when they showed him running to the back and just sorta start panicking and grabbing his throat. Glad he's ok.

glad to hear he's ok too.. I was at the game sitting right behind the goalie at that end. like others have said, it was scary how fast he popped up, put his hands to his throat, and zoomed off the ice. best wishes man..

The interviews from after the game show that he took the shot to the jaw, which then deflected to the throat so the jaw took a lot of the impact there.
