Zanon...

Hab Fan here. I come in peace, blah blah.

What do Predator fans think of Greg Zanon? What are his positives? What are his negatives? Anytime I see the guy he seems to be real solid and I love his shot blocking work.

What would be his value to the Preds? Do you guys think he'll be re-signing soon?

He works hard all the time. He has a lot of character on and off the ice, and it is noticeable in the lockerroom. He is a practice warrior, and he blocks shots like a fiend. Unfortunately, he truly is a 5/6/7th defenseman. Ideally, he suits up as the 6th defenseman for a contending team. While his shot-blocking is his best asset, it also leaves him out of position in situations through out the game.

Yeah, I think hit shot blocking has gotten worse over the past season IMO. I like him on the PK cause he commits to blocking the shot where at even strength he doesn't. Might be that getting out of position screaming in his head while going down to block it. How bout DeVires hope the few times you've watch him over the past 2 seasons you've seen the few good games he's had for us, you want him to? Maybe we'll throw in a twofer.

I would love to have him back next year on the precondition that he plays no more than 45 games.
