Which eastern team goes to the SCF this year

Which eastern team goes to the Cup final?

Please forgive any glaring omissions and vote for other if you feel I missed an obvious choice.I tried to make the list of teams based on this season and/or last couple seasons.

At any rate, I am saying hands down the Pens go to the Cup final (Yes, I realize I made a typo in the poll heading. Read the origional heading.), and book it now. I feel if Crosby, Malkin, Gonchar and Fleury all are healthy enough that they are playing in the playoffs and the rest of the team isn't absolutly decimated by innjuries, they have the best overall depth, and will not be stopped.I have rarely seen a team that can "bail" out with so much game breaking ability and offensive dynamic.I just can't see anyone in the East taking them. Name me an East team and I'll tell you why the Pens will take them.I hate the Pens, but I can see how talented they are.

I voted Boston but I like Pittsburgh's chances also and the Rangers are a distant third.

Everyone is chasing Pittsburgh. They have a great young goalie, the 2 best centers in the game. And when healthy, their defense is good enough to make it to the Finals.

I have New York as the dark-horse / #1 challenge for Pittsburgh, due to having the best goalie this season. Having a hot goalie is worth it's weight in gold.

I'm a Ranger fan and I picked the Habs. They were my pre-season pick and I'm sticking with them.

The Rangers lack the scoring power to go all the way.

Hard to say now. Boston always has a surge of brilliance every season. I'll tell you 82 games in

Going into the season I would have said the Habs. But they've looked terrible. If they land Sundin they'll have a shot.

It doesn't matter much, we will see a West Coast team win it again.

I'm not going to vote but if New Jersey makes the playoffs I think they go to the finals.

I voted Philly. I have a feeling they'll get either Shanny or Sundin, then trade Carter and 1st for Kaberle (this time Kaberle will waive his NTC).

Carter and a 1st for Kaberle? Have you seen Carter play this year? He's currently tied for 2nd in the league in goalscoring, we need him in our lineup.

Sundin coming to Philly is never going to happen either.

I voted for Rangers, I really like their team overall this year.

Never underestimate a team with Mike Richards on it.

I think the Penguins.

Once they get Gonchar and Whitney back they will be very tough to beat in a 7-game series. Couple that with the experience they gained last year, and I think they take the conference.
