Well researched, good sir.

On an unrelated note: I tip my hat to Horton and Vokoun (not to mention, obviously, McCabe).

Nice to squeek out a win there, though, it hurts my Tavares hopes.

Give the kid a break, he goes up against the top guys in the league night in, night out. Plus we give up more goals than we score so his plus/minus being negative isn't a shocker.

Bo as looked horrible this season and he has looked average the past two years. Too many turnovers and stupid penalties taken.

At least now I can feel alright going into the Devils game Thurs. Last time we were here, we won and this time they dont have Brodeur.

It's hard to give him a break when he makes it so obvious that he wants out. I put little stock in the +/-, but Bouw's yet to score, he's paid to be more offensive. His defensive play, especially to start the season, was pretty solid, but he needs to light the lamp.

Great post, could not have said it any better myself. This is the exact reason I traded Gagne while he's red hot in my Y! keeper league. You never know when concussion symptoms can creep back into the athlete.

They don't want to recognize the guy that had a hand in all 3 Panther goals.

I'm starting to believe that our medical staff may have something to do with injury issues we've had for years.
I remember years ago when our medical staff changed our new medical staff came from a team that lead the league in injuries. I remember back then saying this will come back to haunt us. Do we still have that same medical staff and does anyone remember what that team was that our staff / head of medical came from?

Sure he has not looked good this season, but last year he had 15 goals, which was three goals behind Mike Green last season. Lets not all get carried away here with Bouwmeester now. The kid is a talented Dman and since he doesnt want to sign here, it seems everyone is really starting to turn on him the way most did with Jokinen.

He is playing like he wants out which is very unsportsmanlike. In the past two weeks I've counted about 7-8 big turnovers coming from behind the net. I'm not saying he's not a good defense men, you don't log 29 minutes of ice-time because of nothing. But he isn't playing how he should be. Ballard and since McCabe has come back, have been our best d-men. I think we found our replacement for Bo guys. I think it is crucial to the psyche of this team that we keep Bo for as long as we are in the hunt, but once we are out, trade him.

I can't comment on his play since I can't watch the games, but I'm certainly hoping we're not doing to him what Toronto fans did to McCabe. Scapegoating, in other words, and magnifying his mistakes.

Incidentally, looking at my sig, figuring a team needs 96 points to make the playoffs ("goal") - the Panthers now have to win 40 of 65 games to have a chance. *sigh*
