Simon Gagne Vs Vincent Lecavalier

Who is better? Obvsiously, consider that Gagne stays healthy.

How about putting Vinny up against someone who has scored over 50 goals or gotten over 100+ points. Like Thornton or Malkin or something. Vinny, and I don't think its even close.

VL and it's not close. Gagne is a great player but he's not on the same level as VL

Even though I am a Flyers fan, I can't say that is even remotely close coming from the history of the two. Lecavalier wins, hands down.

However, Gagné is doing very well this season. 11 Goals and 22 Points in 17 games speak for themselves (Lecavalier by comparison only has 7 goals and 12 points in the same number of games), and this puts him on route for 50 goals and 100+ points. Probably also a root cause is that Gagné please on a team which is near the top of the league in goals per game, which Tampa is in the cellar in that category.

I believe Gagné can do it this season. He has been looking very confident and even after the Kovalev hit he showed no signs of health trouble. Ask me again when the regular season is over.

I hate that match up. Lecavalier is one of the top 5 players in the NHL (not counting goalies) clearly, no matter how he's doing currently or will do. He's just great. Gags can't match up against him in this poll. I think Gags is one of the Top few LW's in the NHL but he can't match with Vinny

Voted for Gagne. Couldn't let a home team player get 0 votes. Vinny is a LOT better.

I saw the title of this poll and was hoping it wasn't actually serious.

It was.

I guess having a great 2-way game means nothing to you people.

Lecavalier even though he hasn't been very good this season. Though I would say Gagne is better defensively.
