Trade proposals from hospital

I know I might be sedated and feverish - but here are some thoughts I came up with (am I raving mad?):

Toronto - NYR
A Steen for P Prucha, Dane Byers, 5th 2009 (Torontos actually - Hollweg)
1,700 – 1.600 = +100

Anaheim - NYR
B Ryan for N Dawes + B Sanguinetti + 2nd 2009
850* – 588 = +262

LA Kings - NYR
P Rissmiller to LA Kings for „future considerations“
-1.000
Cap space available now = 285.000
Cap space available after trades = 923.000
*- add bonuses 2009

Team
Drury – Gomez – Cally
Nδslund – Dubi – Zherdev
Korpedo – Steen – Ryan
Sjo – Betts – Voros/Orr
14th F – Fritsche

There are a plethora of other possible line combos here
Young, speedy team with some toughness
HF board dream squad

Redden – Girardi
Rozie – Staal
Kalinin – Mara
Add a mean D journeyman at the deadline. Or a Wolfpacker if someone develops above expectation

Thoughts?

Hope your feeling better after your operation

I wouldnt be interested in Steen but Ryan is a player i would love to see here. Eklund will be saying maybe we will trade with the Canucks after tonights game.

I don't think Toronto takes that deal, Anaheim might (depending on whether or not the rumors that "there is no room for Bobby Ryan" are true or not).

If the Ducks are actually trying to trade him, that deal may be a decent starting point (I still think we'd need to add more though).

it kinda sucks that burke isnt GM of the ducks anymore. Him and sather are friends. Would have made getting ryan a hell of a lot easier.

that seems like a lot to me to get Bobby Ryan. I guess you're all not too hot on him currently.

Steen trade looks good

I believe it will be in between the 2nd and 3rd periods, the players involved will have velcro names on their backs so they can just switch jerseys and locker rooms mid-game. (E12)

Well considering he's been called up and skated on the top line with Getzlaf and Perry the other night, I doubt they're 'still' (assuming they were at all) looking to move him.

Ummm good idea

Goalies? no thanx - but a close call actually. Would get confusing
Defense Rozie and Φhlund switch
Fwds - we dress Rissmiller and he switches with Bernier

Bring on the velcro Mr Ek

Nigel Dawes has at times under the plethora of line combos we use been a 1st line winger too

True in theory, but not necessarily a truth in itself.

I'd be pretty disappointed in Dawes if he was a #2 overall pick behind Crosby.

Bobby Ryan is playing on the Ducks topline.

Being showcased? Or given his just due for being a good sport...

If he was available Slats should get him. Dawes and Bobby Sangs sounds fair.

I like the Bobby Ryan deal, not so sure the Leafs would trade Steen in that deal though.

Feel better BBK, Iceland needs you
