Russian U17 team beat USA (has same roster as they gonna have this time) just month ago without all those guys who did i named above.
If I'm not mistaken Kitsyn is not eligible since he was born in late 1991.

Kendall McFaull and Dylan McIlrath are classic western Defensemen

Two big guys who play solid defense and are tough as nails

Don't really think Charles Inglis will make an impact here. Why would you say that, he only has like 8 pts in half a season. OUCH

Teemu Pulkkinen will be the leading scorer in this tournament if he gets even some help from his team mates.

Oh, Joonas Donskoi is in the team too, now it's a done deal.

I have seen him play a few times...the guy has alot of skill, does not matter what he is doing this year...Jimmy Bubnick last year did not have the biggest output of offensive explosion either and he did VERY well in the tournament. I have not seen Inglis since early in the season but his ice time and role was very constricted when i saw him, IF it is still the same, pretty hard to put up mind blowing stats that way eh.

all 4 portland players should make an impact...ross does everything and does it well...peters always showed he had a great shot but his defensive play has been phenominal (he's a + player on a pretty bad team) and rutkowski reminds me of mikkelson at his age. Hamilton i've only seen in camp but he's a very sound goaltender. I believe he is the son of bruce hamilton, GM of kelowna and president of the WHL board of govenors? Could be nephew or something.

At any rate, team pacfic looks very good, I was impressed with pysyk when I saw him, plays like a much older player. Connolly is probably one of the best players in his age group and both ranford and weal play a good offensive game. For being a "bad draft" at the time, this group of 1992's, at least in the dub, has been impressive.

the guy to watch on german team is tom kühnhackl. 1st round talent.

i can't say how good tobias rieder is, i've never seen him play, but i heard only good things. he's smaller, but high-skilled. and draft eligible in 2012. so maybe he can grow a bit till then.

I think Bubnick was pretty happy to be on a line with scoring leader Schenn, and Glennie last year!!!

Only the gold medal game will be on national television (TSN) on the final day of the tournament.

If you are from Vancouver Island, Shaw Cable TV will each of the 7:00 PM games, obviously one game per day (which will be live from Port Alberni).

I believe the local radio station 93.3 FM The Peak will have each game played in Port Alberni's Weyerhaeuser Arena, but I am not sure if there is a way to listen online directly from them.

Only Shaw Cable (television wise) will have that game live. I believe they will also carry the opening ceremonies at 7:00 PM Pacific as well.

Wow, those are some small teams. Only USA defense looks decent.

watch out for st.croix from team west and nolan zajac, travis zajac's brother. st.croix is the best forward from manitoba in my mind, and zajac is the best d man from manitoba in my mind to. pickard will probably get most of the starts i think.

Even without Kabanov and Galiev that's a really good Russia roster.

Brashkin
Zotov
Marchenko
Ilminsky
Kuznetsov
Namestnikov
Berdnikov
Gogolev
Barbashev
Apalkov

But does any of them have enough talent to challenge Teemu Pulkkinen for the scoring title?
