Tanguay's worst game as a Hab, we needed some grit in the summer, not more soft points. Get him back on Koivu's right side.
The lines are a joke right now.
Tommy P. is trying too hard, he needs a shrink to get out of his funk.
Price looked great, who knows if he will next start.
Still no emotion, what does Guy do to motivate theses guys? I've never seen a team come out flat in the 1st so often, it's been pretty commonplace since Carbo's been coaching.
When Bouillon, Brisebois, O'Bryne are 50% of your defence, don't be shocked when you can't get the puck out of your zone. Get us a real defenceman Bobby.
We look totally rattled whenever the other team starts skating. It's just sad.
We're in a slump. This sort of thing happens to every team, every season. We're still 10-5-2 and have the talent to be contenders the moment some players snap out of their funk.
Can we please not go nuts by suggesting firing the coach, trading half the team, or benching our best player ?
Its a competitive league and we won't win every game, if we continue to play like this for another 2 weeks, then it might be time to think about making some changes, but now is the time to be patient.
Its better to learn how to lose in November than in April.
"guys, we're not getting enough goals on the board. my solution you ask??? put absolutely no one on the forecheck...we'll play like this for a good 50 mins...after that kovy can u spin around or some **** to win it for us?"
10 min to go , down by one and we couldn't even sustain any pressure.
Our offense has been anemic. 5 goals in 4 games won't win you a lot of hockey games. Time to put back what works, juggling the lines for so long just takes away from the little we had.
It seems this team is having trouble multi-tasking. They'll concentrate on effort and they'll forget execution. They'll score on the PP and they'll forget even-strength.
Price was phenominal, Geroges is a warrior, and AGAIN our fourth line has been our best. Segrei was horrendous and Obyrne wasn't any better.
Some teams are worse off but clearly this team needs a shakeup. Carbo's tried juggling the lines and it gave s marginal win against a bottom feeder team. Get rid of your 23rd man and save that spot for call ups. Maybe some one lobbying for their jobs will light a fire under the players' ass.
Not Pretty, but my expectations have been greatly lowered (maybe fallen in line with how good the team actually is?) over the past few weeks. As such, losses are almost expected and therefore not as hard to deal with. Still freaking depressing though.

This is not the time for rational thought, and certainly not for patience. The Habs must win every game, and every win must be convincing and epic....that is all.

I appreciate the positivism but this has nothing to do with talent or competition. It's the total lack of effort and heart.
Time to criticize the coaches
It is 3 yrs in a row that opposite teams outshoot us. Game after game, month after month, year after year. Nobody tells me it is normal. It is not a players thing. It is a coaching issue if it persists coz in 3 yrs many players came and go.
Also, 4th line players like playing as much or more than A.Kosty
carbo !!!!!!!!
