My dog died last year on mother's day. He was seriously the most kick ass dog ever. I still get a little teary eyed thinking about him. But then one day my dad said he bought a puppy from a breeder but was telling my mom me and my brothers got it on our own so he wouldn't get in trouble. *******. Anyway, my puppy now is the ****ing man. English Springer Spaniels are honestly some of the coolest dogs. It's the "family dog," I guess you could say. My grandparents always had them, except when they got their yap-yap miniature schnauzer, but my uncle always gets them, and we've always had them since I was a baby.
This is the first day we got him:
Springers are awesome, is yours super hyper, I am too lazy to own one, so I have a Cocker SPaniel instead named "Piper", she just turned 1. She is awesome, smarter than me, but awesome
Lost my cat of 11 years last month. It was sudden, and horrible. I still get weepy sometimes at night. Sorry your pup's not doin' well.
FF9, You know which one... the hockey one...Beukebooom!
I'm more of a cat person, but I love this!!!
Jules, I'm so sorry to hear that. Loosing a pet is so difficult--they truly are one of the family. And Beuk truly went full circle with you, from the Dark Side to the Orange and Black --I'm glad to see him sporting the Flyers orange and black though.
I am a dog person.
Some of you sure do have some nice looking pups.
I had a Rotty for a little over 12 years and she passed away suddenly back in September. I was devestated. She was a devoted friend and I still miss her.
I wish I had some pics online of her. The pics of her went when my last computers harddrive crashed.
I just had the most amazing experience! There was a bald eagle in a tree in the eastern part of Toronto, which is a rarity. They migrate through here and I saw an adult bald eagle a couple of days ago but we always see them flying by, sometimes really high, sometimes below us along the shore when we're at the Bluffs. The residents on the street were coming out to look at it when they saw us with cameras and binoculars (we were planning to bird watch elsewhere) and suddenly a red-tailed hawk showed up and chased the eagle away. I have some pictures and video clips if you want to take a look, the eagle is young so it doesn't have the white head/tail yet (they start getting those at age 3-5) and they're not very crisp because I don't have a great camera but you can hear the hawk yelling and then flying past the eagle.
