That was Frolik's best shift this season. He's getting his confidence up.

AAhhhhhh, ouch. That doesn't look good. At least he got up, but I'll be surprised if he's not done for the season.

No, it really doesn't look good at all. We can't afford to lose Cullimore for any extended period of time.

I just edited and said that I'll be surprised if he comes bac this season. Hopefully it was just hyper-extended and not one of his CLs.

Good to hear the Jersey crowd cheer his getting up.

Hello Mr. Welch! Hopefully he gets to play more than 3 minutes this time around. Get well soon Cully. That looked nasty and wouldn't be surprised if he's out for a long while.

Better 2nd period. We need to play the same way in the 3rd to have a chance. Unfortunate that McCabe lost his stick on the Elias goal.

Gotta admit, that was a great save on Frolik!

Couple of things so far:

1. Sunrise Express stays together. Not until Stillman gets back, but until they prove that they cant get it done. They look so comfortable out there together, and really know where each other is at.

2. Frolik stays. I would think that as soon as he breaks the ice, he is going to get a few more going quick. He is really shifty out there.

I'm almost interested to see how Ellerby would look up here and see Welch sent down, unless he has to clear waivers, don't remember how that works.

No, I'm not saying I expect playoffs this year.
Yes, but you're not going to make the playoffs with 88 points, is my point. So we have to go 40-25, so what? Then that's what we have to do. It's not an unreasonable task, by any means.

I didn't see that angle until just now, but he hsa missed two chances that should have easily been buried. I'm anxious for him to get that monkey off his back.

Not sure what to do about the Express line, I mean, where do you put Stillman? I wish Matthias was tearing it up down there and his play was demanding his coming up.

McCabe dropped stick then the Devils player kicked it... Should have been a delay, right?

Playing really really well... We just need to keep this up and one will drop.

LOVE the Sunrise Express finally getting back together, Horton needs the space created for him by Weiss and Booth for him to ever be a 40 goal scorer, IMO... He can't be a center in between Olesz and McLean.

And Frolik, he's awesome... This is his best game by far. I agree with the poster before about once he get's lucky and puts one in some how, he will really start scoring... He had a ridiculous wrist shot that just missed that top corner, and how he picked that puck off on the fly like that... He will score this period. The only thing is, I wish it was Matthias centering him and Stewart.

Stillman-Matthias-Frolik would be an awesome 2nd line...

Nice idea especially if Bou is moved for a forward and 1st rounder in the next month. Sometimes I forget that we have a guy like Ellerby

Yeah, that was an unreal save by Clemmenson. Frolik should have had his first right there. He keeps getting himself open and putting shots like that on net, he's going to score soon.

That was my 2nd line if I started the season as coach.

Olesz-Kreps-Zed something like that as third line. McLean -Campbell and either Srewy or Dvo on the 4th line.

Simple as that

I thought he stick was kicked, too. Oh well, I guess.

If he can play well, he may REALLY soften the blow of losing Bouw.

Now, we get to hear Potvin talk about how diving to block shots takes the defender out of the play.

And now it gets pathetic.

Nice to se Horton literally watch Gionta put that puck in the net. Some good effort out there man.

We miss 2 wide open nets that would have changed this game completely. Story of our franchise?

We needed to score when the game was 1-0, we had the chances and didn't finish, that's the game right there. I mean NJ only had 4 shots since the 1st, pretty good defensive game, but Boynton was terrible on that 3rd goal trying to get the puck out.
