Great backhand clear Boynton, a lot of effort put into that...

The current result is the product of the superior conditioning and free-flowing style (call it chemistry if you like) of the Devils. The New Jersey players act cohesively, as one unit, whereas the Florida players appear to struggle to work as a team.

I've been thinking that for a while now. Nice to see someone say it.

DeBoer's workign on that and is also woking on accountability. I think they'll get there, but it takes time to build that.

Sick shot but I'm not sure, to me I think Campbell tipped that. I think that may be changed to Campbell's goal. Frolik rules. Btw, let's stop saying Matthias would be a great 2nd line center. He's 4th line in the AHL with barely any points, let's be realistic.....

Uhmmmm...did you read the comments that started that? Seems that we, or at least I, was being very realistic since I said that I was hoping Matthias was playing as though his play dictated him being up, not that he did deserve it. He'll turn it around, but there's really no need for the "reality" check since we were being pretty realistic.

Nope, that was Frolik's goal. Campbell jumped out of the way.

You know why Vokoun is shaking his head, because of stupid plays like Zednik sliding right by Martin and Boynton fanning on a backhand in an attempt to clear the zone. Both resulting in goals that could have easily been prevented. It should be 1-1 right now at the very worst for the Panthers. I don't know how many times we lose games on just the smallest little stupid mistakes. It shouldn't happen.

We played lazy at the beginning and end of the game (short of the last 2 mins) and it cost us.

You've gotta be able to score goals, bottom line.

It was Booth sliding in front of Maritn. Zednik had a decent game.

I believe that was Booth who slid right by Martin.

Edit: beaten to it.

And in my opinion, a line of Dvorak-Campbell-Peltonen will score 1 goal in 20 games

No it was Zednik. On one of the worst diving block attempts I've ever seen. I thought he was auditioning for the Slovak bobsled team in 2010.

Frolik is starting to look comfortable out there. This goal relaxed my fears that he'd develop into another Olesz; I'm sticking with my Havlat comparison. And, more importantly, Frolik makes those around him better; he created some decent opportunities for Zednik and McLean.

Hm. One of the Devils commentators (Doc or whatever his name is) said it was Booth; and I thought I saw a No. 10 on the jersey on the replay. And it seems I'm not the only one on the boards who thinks it was Booth. But it could be our mistake. Who knows.

Why are you pointing out our 4th line? Our top 3 lines can't score.
