the good news is at this pace there will be no problems convincing some of these guys to waive their no trade clauses.

Richards is such a non-factor at even strength. He's like a forward pylon.

priorities:

1) Get rid of Turco
2) Get rid of Richards
3) Get rid of Avery

how the hell do these 3 hacks make nearly 18 million dollars between themselves? and we're stuck with Avery and Richards for the next 3 years...

Seriously, he is invisible sometimes. Maybe that's because we give him scraps for wingers, but he can't generate jack even-strength.

Is Morrow hurt or did he get benched?

He isn't playing with Modano or Ribeiro.

LOL @ Sharp missing 2 empty nets.

Not like it matters, Dallas won't score either.

6-3, who didn't see that coming.

The Dallas Stars have failed to string together back to back wins so far this year. Back to the drawing board, boys.

What is to be done with Turco? Benched? Do the Stars bring in a backup goaltender to push him? OMG GREAT FUN!

I doubt Stephan would get thrown to the wolves vs. Anaheim so it'll be Turco again on Saturday, I'm guessing.

It's very possible that by the time the puck drops, Dallas could be dead last in the entire NHL.

Fun times.

I say the Stars start Stephan next game and keep on starting him until he gives up 5 goals like Turco has done all too many times this season.

I think Tippett wanted to avoid a suspension and/or fine. Morrow appeared downright homicidal.

Dallas is 2nd to last to the Blues, but the Blues have 2 games in hand and the same number of wins and losses.

I'd actually say it's likely the Stars will be in last place in the league.

The forwards quit back checking after Chicago went up 4-3 it seems as they're losing faith again in Turco. Quitting isn't the answer as they're doing.
The issue with Turco is on screened shots he sucks on since he's only 5'10 about, not to mention goals go through his five hole this year with the crackdown on goalie equipment.
I'd start Stephan for awhile and let Turco work with Moog again, at least when Stephan is scored on he has no chance on the goals, or they're perfectly placed.

Stars having a team meeting ..... big deal.

This is like their 10th one this year. Morrow and Turco, the entire team, embarrassed themselves this game. This is worse than Boston.

Last time Turco worked with Moog, he came back and got smoked by the Hawks in October.

I have zero faith in Turco right now. It's going to take a miracle performance to claw the team back into playoff contention (the division it out of the question)

well not really.. I think we're 6 points out right now... teams have come back from worse.

What it's going to take is a massive change in how this team plays the game - especially in the defensive end and just the general work ethic of the team. Nobody is talented enough to have success without working for it in the NHL, this team better learn that very quick or it's going to be a long season.

It was Boston. Stephan was smoked by the Hawks, but at least he didn't really let in soft goals against the Hawks.
