Cullimore hurt
Defenseman Jassen Cullimore injured his right knee in the second period. He was helped off the ice by teammates, careful not to put pressure on that leg, and didn't return. DeBoer said there wouldn't be more known on Cullimore's status until today. ... Center Kamil Kreps returned to the lineup Thursday. He had missed the previous five games after suffering a concussion Nov. 6 at Los Angeles.

Team gets a C
Nearly one-fourth through the season, DeBoer said the Panthers' report card deserves a 'C.'

"We've done some things, we've made some improvements, but we're not where we need to be," he said. "The nice thing is we're starting to get a handle on how we want to play and how we need to play."
Panthers outshoot Devils but only get frustrated
Devils make most of their scoring chances in win over Florida Panthers
George Richards' Blog, Your Source For Reliable, Early Panthers Info!

Kreps returned but the Panthers lost Cullimore. Expect to see Noah Welch return to the lineup.

Red Hot Cat Of The Night Bryan McCabe, who has 6 points in his last 5 games.

Primary Target

Patrice Bergeron, a key cog in the Bruins lineup who missed much of last season after a major hit against the boards early on. His return has sparked the Bruins to a strong start this season. And apparently his balance is fairly impressive. He could always be a figure skater after his NHL career ends.

LET'S GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!

C'mon montsy, the cats will get at least one goal. I'm going with 4-2 Bruins. Skrastins and Boynton get the goals.

I hope they win. My husband said he's cheering for the B's tonight (his childhood favorite team). I can't stand the thought of his gloating. I'd much prefer to be the one doing the gloating.

Oh, well...then we'll win

This team always seems to beat the teams that seem unstoppable, and lose to the ones they should beat (except Tampa).

It was nice to see Frolik playing well last night. That first goal should boost his confidence. He looked especially good on the PP.

Let's go Panthers.

I agree. However, it's a guaranteed loss tonight because it's the 2nd of back to backs. We suck at those.

Hard to believe, but this is his first trip back to Boston since he was traded. A bunch of us are planning on wearing our Boynton Bruin shirts to the game and cheering him on. But of course, we still have to root for the B's to win. I just want Nick to do well. Should be a good game.

Y'll always seem to have the B's number - but good luck

Bergy has been OK - his last few points have come from playing out on the PP. You'll notice he looks good defensively but is still a tame in the offensive zone, corners, going to the net -

I'm also glad Frolik had a great game last night. Should get him more playing time for sure. Maybe he can get a point streak going. As for tonights game. The Bruins have been playing some great hockey lately and with big Chara on defense our chances will be limited, so we need to capitalize on every chance we do get. I hope we can get at least a point out of this game.

I expect a win tonight because I don't expect us to win. We're playing a tough team and the back end of back-to-back. Expect a similar situation as the Ducks game, I just hope that Andy can play well again.

We are going to have to play out of our minds to beat Boston, they are the best in the East right now IMO. I don't think we'll win, 2nd of back to back, we have to travel, and the B's are fresher. I just hope we don't get embarassed.

For some reason, the Panthers always give the B's a hard time and we struggle to score against them. Hopefully, that won't be the case tonight.

Good luck tonight. Hopefully the refs will let the boys play and not call every little minor infraction or infractions that don't exist.

Don't worry - they only do that to the Panthers, usually late in the third

So Olesz has been benched for poor performance and the Horton as center experiment is officially over. I would say roster moves are next on the kick them in the ass agenda.

He has been known to respond to benchings, so I'll take this as a positive move towards jump-starting his offensive production.

Thanks GR.

I am glad Olesz is benched, he has been invisible out there so far this season. He sure doesn't look like a player who just signed a 6 year deal worth 18 mill. I don't know how they possibly gave him more money than Weiss. But that's just my opinion. I like rusty, I always have, but he's one of the guys we need to be producing like a top-6 forward in order for the team to be successful and he just hasn't been doing it.
