Bouwmeester needs to learn how to shoot. Also: I like Kreps playing with Stewart and Booth.

He would be fine if he realized that his strength lies in his passing and skating abilities. He needs to be McCabe's Kaberle (and nothing more).

I've already come to the conclusion that isn't happening. He can't pass nearly as good as Kaberle.

I'd rather have Weiss on the point.

Just get rid of Bouw at this point. He's not even trying. Ryder is beating him ... Ryder!

Welch tried to help, but he wound up hurting more than he helped.

I think it's time to move him, see if you can't get a top centerman for him to center Frolik and Stillman. Move up Ellerby (then find someone who can play to take his spot in the 'A'.

Man the game is already over. The Bruins are all over us.

Could we have any worse luck? Like really, Ballard just HAD to blow a tire right?

Zednik needs to hit the ****ing net. He wastes so many chances by just shooting the puck, but he never even hits the net!

Ugh our offense stinks of rotten skunk.

You're right on that one. But the setup was just phenomenal. Krejci really thinks the game well.

Too late. It's another level of hockey. Truly beautiful stuff.

Good on Boynton, though, Lucic is more than he can handle. Where the hell's Belak damnit.

Wow. And who said Euros (outside Chara) can't be tough. Great fight there for Lucic.

they don't usually fight, but they're all very tough. Have to be to play in this league.

*Nice save Vokoun, glad you showed up tonight.

Yeah. I was about to say that he nearly pulled a Tommy Salo.

3 thoughts on this game:

1. If you're a Bruins fan, you're eating this up. They are playing SO well right now it's not funny, I'm actually rather impressed.

2. Did anyone else think it was a little funny that Welch skated in front of the Welch's sign?

3. Oh and this is hard to watch, very much so. Changes aren't far off at this point. I'm pretty sure DeBoer is getting sick of waiting for them to wake up. There are some poor decisions being made and the same guys night in and out are the ones trying hard.

I didn't want to believe it either, but Bouwmeester really isn't playing up to par at all. Ballard has out played him most of the season, and McCabe has really come on in the last few games, he sure changes the PP. It's nice to see Frolik getting the confidence, Booth continues to just rule, and Campbell and Boynton show their heart on the ice.

Vokoun is now at the point of the season where he plays well, but the guys in front don't do enough to make a difference. Sigh.

He gets better every game. Last night he convinced himself that he can score; tonight he overcame any physical timidity that he may have had.
