I would really like Martin to look at his comments he made a few weeks back, about how he feels good about our team, and see that we need some major help. Its just not working out for us at all, and we need a major injection of anything right now. We are stinking up the league, and its quite sad. If its going to go like this, i say we go for broke and go for Tavares/Hedman.

Time to "shake up the room"

I swear at this point my daughter could play better than these guys (and she's all of 3 months old).

I'm at the point where I say blow it up completely and rebuild (again!). Horton, gone. He's dogging it once again. Actually, the only players I'd keep at this point are Booth, Frolik, and Weiss up front (maybe Soupy as well), Ballard, Boyton, McCabe and Scratch on D, and both Vokoun, Andy in net. Everyone else is expendable and should be since they sure as hell aren't playing like NHLers.

Nothing wrong with that hit, that's how Ballard plays. Hope Savard's OK, hopefully only a bruied thigh.

lol, the announcer apparently doesn't know Ballard's style very well.

I've barely heard Horton's name at all this game.

Lol at the Bruin's announcers QQing over a good hip check.

I guess I'm the only one here who isn't impressed with Frolik. He'll probably turn out okay, but he really could use some time in the AHL.

Jay's play is going to screw us over when it's time to trade him. I'm calling this right now, we are going to get fleeced.

Maybe if we had a good AHL team.

Agree, though, I'd add Stillman to that list.

I also think it wouldn't be a bad idea to move Horton, so long as we get a solid enough return.

I came into the game late, so don't jump on me for a dumb statement. But tonight (what I've seen) on the powerplay and the past few games I'm liking the puck movement.

People are starting to key on McCabe, which should open up good shot opportunities for other people.

For the past two years I've been watching McCabe do that little behind the back pass--and then have the other player on the Leafs (doesn't matter who it was) hold onto it, do nothing with it,and try to get it back to McCabe. It's nice to see Bouw and Weiss et al driving toward the net for a shot.

It's going to work out OK. A bit more time together, a player here, a player there, and we have a good team.

Has anyone else also noticed that McCabe seems to be trying to get Bouwmeester going (with a pass for a goal?). I'd love to see him get one.

I want to say, first of all, that this isn't a "trade proposal". Now, for the last few games, I've been pondering the prospect of sending Horton and Bo to Ottawa for Spezza and the A-Train.

Does anyone else think that this would help us improve our position?

I'm just getting tired of Bo not trying and of Horton picking when to try. This game has shown both of those phenomena.

Didn't include Stillman because of his age. He's a damn good player and you're right since we'd need a captain and teacher on the ice, but if we're going to rebuild I figured start young.

What the hell was he talking about? Campbell didn't swing the stick at all. He turned around on him, but there wasn't any "baseball swinging motion."

Well, we aren't going to win the Cup, and we need a guy like him. Works for me.

True, but they would need a guy like Stillman in there. I don't want to blow it up that bad, but there are so many guys on this team that need to be moved out.

I'm frustrated with Belak, he needs to get out that and start fighting, stir things up, that's what you're here for.

You know what kind of a game it is when Peltonen scores.
