Reason Lucic did not fight.

Besides being told by Julien not to fight, Lucic had hurt his hand in the fight with Komisarek and then the day before this game fought again against Boynton and banged his hand up even more. Also, why have a guy that plays on your top line, fight the other teams 4th line goon. If Laracque wanted to go with someone, I am sure Shawn Thornton would have gone, and that would be an even trade off. Think about it, would you guys want Koivu or one of your top line players fighting with Yelle or Thornton?

CAN BOTH TEAMS FANS JUST LET THIS GO?

Whoopdie ****ing do, a fight didn't happen. The simple answer is both ways the same.

Bruins fans, stop making excuses. Lucic obviously doesn't see himself as a heavyweight fighter, and more like what he actually is, a Power Forward who can scrap.

Habs fans, shut up too. Its as if you brought in Laraque just so you can ***** when nobody fights him. Yes Lucic can drop em, but he knows he's not a heavyweight, and he knows taking himself out for 5 minutes to get likely beat up by one of the league's top fighters makes no sense.

Just both sides, SHUT UP. It's OVER.

Been there, done that.....yesterday's news.....We shouldn't waste time on this anymore....Things more important here like winning games in more regular basis.

Its a matter of answering the bell...if Lucic wants to run around like he did in the previous game and hit people and taunt than he will have to pay the price eventually.

I'm not saying he's not allowed to do that, to the contrary, he is, its part of hockey, but he also has to expect consequences to playing that way, are the Habs supposed to just watch as he goes after some guys like Kovy and Komisarek...

If he doesn't want to be a target than don't run around like that and expect nothing to happen,
