Im pretty sure that somewhere we can find a D-Men, maybe not a top 4 but you know a physical stay at home D for draft picks or prospect... I know that he is really slow but i would like a guy like Andy Sutton, a punishing D..

This is what I"ve been saying for awhile. None of our Hamilton guys are ready to step up and fill the void. Gainey has got to step up and grab that 4th defenseman now.

If Henry was that good don't you think somebody would have picjed him up on waivers? Same goes for Janecevski.

O'byrne is not the problem on this team, it's the lack of forecheck and puck control by the plethora of skilled forwards.

He will I'm fairly certain.

Now it's all about what we give up for him. Hopefully not another Ribeiro/Niniimaa deal.

Don Lever said that right now Henry is the best D for Hamilton, maybe he can help against the Bruins tomorrow..

You have to think about the Salary cap as well for next year. Sutton makes 3 mil for this year and next.

This is bad news!

Can't believe how many times I saw habs fan arguing that Komi shouldn’t fight lucic because of injuries risk and because he has a more important role and then this happens...

Bruins fans most be laughing there as,s off
Not so... no one wants to see someone injured whether its a player you love or hate.

Too bad about Komi. Hopefully he comes back sooner then expected.

I think he should definitely pay for this. He probably won't accept a fight with BGL but I would really like to see Laraque on his case all night Saturday

It would be great if this didn't turn into the fourth BGL vs. Lucic thread.

Injuries happen - hopefully the Habs can power through it.

No worries guys Brisebois will be in charge of the physical aspect of the game. He is one tough SOB.

Watch out Lucic

I'm fairly certain he will as well. I was just hoping he would have done it before an injury happened to one of our D-man. Since now that he waited, he's not going to be dealing from a position of strength.

To be positive here...

Maybe this is the spark that WAKES the Habs up to tighten up team defence... and that the remaining D corps take it upon themselves to RISE to the occasion by bringing up their play to a whole new level.

It hss happened to MANY sports teams before when critical guys go down in injury

Also... the forwards will likely break out of their collective scoring slumps soon

No kidding. Can't stand this "get Lucic" attitude. It's not like it was a dirty hit or anything he just fought the guy.

It happens.

Besides blaming Lucic or going after Lucic for this doesn't solve the problem whatsoever.

I also think that the first move to do right now is to swith O'Byrne for Dandy, im pretty sure that he can do better than O'Byrne at this point and he also bring a lot of speed.

I'm not to sure about that, maybe for you but with the hate for the habs and for Komi that I see on the bruins board, I’m quite sure some guy's are pretty happy about that.

Hey, I got an idea.

Lets get back at the Bruins by beating them in a hockey game! What a novel concept! Remember when we used to do that? I'm pretty sure we did it once this season, but I seem to forget. We used to be really, really good at it too...

I like Weber and think he's going to be a fine defenseman for us in the future. But having a top 6 (Defense) that has Weber, Breezer and O'byrne in it is just down right frightening.
