Price.
Believe it or not, he's already the best goaltender in his sport.

Maybe in habs-land. But everywhere else, he is not

for 1.1mill Thomas is the obvious pick here

I choose not and can confidently say I'm way more correct than you.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are being sarcastic.

I went with Thomas at 1.1.

Ah, our cap hit is already insane, might as well make it more.

Luongo.

The rest of the roster is going to be filled out with guys on bargain or entry level contracts like Zetterberg (2.65), Komisarek (1.7), Stastny (850K), Lucic (850K), Dubinsky (633K) and many many more. In fact since I'm so bored, I'm gonna fill out the roster my way, and I can guarantee you this team would win the cup.

Ovechkin (9.538M) - Malkin (3.834M) - Iginla (7.0M)
Zetterberg (2.65M) - Stastny (850K) - Pominville (1.033M)
Lucic (850K) - Dubinsky (633K) - Setoguchi (1.247)
Booth (700K) - Kopitar (956K) - Versteeg (492K)

Lidstrom (7.45M) - Weber (4.5M)
Komisarek (1.7M) - Kronwall (3M)
Keith (1.475M) - Coburn (1.3M)

Luongo (6.7M)
Ersberg (700K)

Salary: 56.658M

And I made that team with pretty little effort and research, I'm sure there are plenty of upgrades and changes that could be made, but you can't tell me that team guaranteed wouldn't win the cup.

With proper defense, you need a slightly above average goalie, Price should be a good one since he's cheap and young.

I voted price, but if I could I'd change my vote to Thomas. I didn't realize his cap hut was so low.
