Anyone else notice the good communication on that Avs rush? Doughty told the back checking forward which Avs player to cover. I don't remember seeing that nearly as much last year.

My least favorite part about this team is Stoll's free hand.

Foote keeps pushing Kings head first into the boards. 4 times on that one shift.

Why does every goalie that plays the kngs look like Roy?

First zeiler and now Calder with stupid penalties.

Got lucky on that one. That Avs player had a wide open net. *phew*

Those giant bold white elbow bands make the jersey look a lot worse than it has to.

Damn good shot by Hejduk I have to say. Excellent deceptiveness and perfect placement. That would have beat other goalies too.

When is it acceptable to expect Simmonds to show us a thing or two? He is supposed to be here for some toughness and hasn't shown a lick. All he does is blow scoring chances turn the puck over. Sad thing is he is on the ice close to the same minutes as Kopitar and Brown. Someone please prove me wrong.

Black and white has got to be one of the worst color schemes possible. Could they have possibly made the jerseys any more bland?

Not saying I would have stopped that, but that's a softie for an NHL goalie.
